I just mixed up some juice that I thought sounded very good. I mixed vanilla butternut (loranns), Vanilla swirl (TPA) and hazel nut (TPA) and cotton candy (TPA) to sweeten it up a bit. I used 15 drops of the butternut, 5 of the swirl, 10 hazel nut and 10 of the cotton candy. Mixed with the nic I have been using in my other flavors and same PG and VG. I made 15 ml. I let it steep overnight and just opened it up to give it a vape. I got the weirdest taste ever. It taste like an analog. I do not understand how this is the case, as I thought it would be a very good sweet vanilla butternut flavor. Maybe I missed something in mixology 101 where when you mix this flavor with that flavor, you get analog flavor? Anyone else ever experience this kind of interaction between flavors? I can not pin point the flavor that gave it this taste, as I have tasted each one independently of each other and they were all very good, With the exception the the vanilla butternut, because I could not get a defined flavor and when I tasted it as it over whelmed my taste buds. I am thinking either one of two things happened, Either the butternut flavor, since I could not get a good judgment of what it taste like, gave it this flavor, and I used to much, or that the combo of these flavors together made an analog like flavor. I am trying different things to try and fix it up, I poured some out (1ml) and added some more vg and it still seems to have the flavor. Its not a bad vape, but totally not what I wanted. Any suggestions you might have to fix it would be greatly appreciated. I have about 25 flavors to choose from to try and fix it, as well as some maltic acid if that might help

Only thing I can think of, off the top of my head, is that there is too much bitter in there from the nut flavors and that is throwing the thing toward a tobacco like flavor.

Maybe some Magic Mask or MTS VW? Or something sour?

Sorry, not good with reducing bitter. (In juice or cooking)

But I could be completely off here too...

So far, I have dumped about 2ml of it and added back in 2ml of vg, and added 5 drops of "sour" flavor and it seems like I am getting some where. Starting to vape like I want it. I am going to give it a night to steep and see where it gets me. I think I might of been heavy handed with the nutty flavors as you suggested, as it does seem kind of bitter burnt analog type flavor. The vanilla butternut is my first attempt with loranns and first attempt this flavor so I did not have a guide line of what % I like and to use. It has the making of a very good flavor here, I can taste it its just the bitter and burnt overtones are overpowering it.

Well, its not "bad". Just not what I wanted. I love tobacco vapes, Just not what I was looking for when I made it. Its not so much tobacco in flavor, just more like tobacco in aftertaste if that makes any sense at all. It has that burning kind of taste that tobacco has. Hoosier had it right when he said "bitter nut flavor". Its not my carto or anything like that, as I know what that taste like. Atm I just added in some of my vanilla cola flavor into it and its actually really good. Kind of like if you were to eat a handful of nuts and drink a vanilla coke at the same time. I might just mix the two and call it vanilla coke and nuts.

Its quite good now actually. I am afraid that I will never be able to recreate the flavor because I just added the vanilla coke on top of the the other bitter nut analog flavor. Its been slowly changing all throughout the day in my carto and atm its quite possible the best vape I have had to date. I am going to try to recreate it from scratch and see how it goes. I might have to ditch the butternut flavor I was looking for, but I might have found something that is way better.
