Will a horizontal vivi nova spill out of the drip tip?

Just a quick question i had after receiving a quick(read:FAST) shipment of all my parts over the weekend. Right now i have it on my ego standing up but i'm wondering that if it gets knocked over some how if it will spill out the top, or otherwise damage something. I know there's a rubber seal that i've read is "spill resistant" but i don't want to test this out myself.

Should i store it standing up leaning against something(like in a pencil cup or mug) or can i lie this sucker down on its side without incidient.


By the way all the help i got from my previous thread has been invaluable to me as a newbie vaper. I got some 6ml trial juices with some pear flavor loaded right now, and after a few hits i instantly bought a 100ml worth of various kinds from vapedudes. Playing with the voltages and getting all sorts of different vapes from it has been so fun. I have to pace myself and realize that the whole reason i got into this was to rid myself of a bad habit. Same old story as everyone else here i assume. Any way thanks again XD

I keep mine in my pocket all the time. It'll be sideways, upside down, etc... and I've never had it leak or spill.

I recently got the Nova and I love this thing. After a couple months of playing around with cartos/clearos I finally have the setup that I was looking for.

I have been putting the condom over the mouthpiece when it's in my pocket, just for piece of mind I guess. Have had no leaks, nor have I had any wicking issues.

I had one that would leak but upon examining it I discovered that the center post was crooked and when the cap went on it left a little pin hole gap. I've sent that one back. My other one doesn't leak at all and I've shaken it vigorously trying to get it to leak.

Mine ends up sideways a lot. Hasn't leaked so far.

It has had an occasion to leak thru the cap with the older version 2 heads. Havent try the new 2.5 heads yet. They look engineered to aliviate that issue though. I usually keep mine uprite or >= 90 deg. Love the viv so much it is almost a mute point for me

I have 4 of them - none of them leak. They go into my backpack however is easiest at the time.

i sometime get a bit of liquid when i vape with it. ill take note of what was said earlier and check the central "condom"
( cheers solemnpenguin) or it may be due to the drip tip i use not being the original and needing a bigger o ring.

Nope might leak a little if its really full but it wont pour out.

Ive got 4 novas, 2 of them are knock offs and I always leave them placed sideways on a table when vapeing as they wick better. The gen ones seem to wick better when left standing up. I havent had either type leak or any juice in my mouth when vapeing.

I got 2 Vivi Nova's one i noticed had a little spillage in the mouthpiece, i repositioned the atomizer head cover and was all good....

Ive had a few where the post that holds the wick head had become cockeyed which caused the silicone seal at the top to become off center. This caused leakage out of the mouth piece i simply put a little screw driver in there and repositioned the post to center which solved the problem.....Zombie

nope..never leak no matter what..there's even a small silicone seal in the drip tip..I push it out and place it inside the other silicone seal so it provides even more seepage protection..is it needed? probably not but that's what I do with my vivi's..

The one I have now, doesn't leak. My first one, leaked through the top metal cap around the threads. Luckily, local vapor shop replaced it no questions asked.
