Anybody ever tried Halo's LR cartos? I bought a pack, but haven't used them yet. Just wanted to get someone's opinion on them first. Wish they came in color other than black, cuz I have the PURPLE G6, (what a shock)

2 options for you.

My Halo Cartos are just covered with thin sticky black tape. I was able to unpeel it with very little goo left on the carto. I'd look for purple tape and just recover it. Or the stainless might look cool against the purple battery.

or

Heat shrink tubing. I think the 1/2 in will work well over the 3/8 carto diameter. This site sells purple at $0.90/ft. A few buck would give you enough to do any carto as well as your thin bat to your purple color.
