Will I notice a difference between an eGo and a 16340 mod?

My mini GLV-2 is supposed to ship mon or tues. I can't wait, can anyone with a 16340 mod and an eGo tell me if I will notice a difference. I hope it has just a bit more oomph to drive some cartos.

I was thinking cartos were the end all for me till I got dripping every day on LR attys with my ego. Now the carto performance seems kinda lame in comparison Still do them for out and about, but not at home anymore.

I don't have a meter, so I don't know what my eGos really put out.

And one more question, I got the Trustfire multi-charger for 3.7 batts. But it says the output is 4.2v I know it works with the 16340s (they are charged and waiting) but does that mean I might be getting 4.2v out of them. Sorry if thats a dumb question, but I really don't know jack about batteries yet.

Not a dumb question, it's a very good question. The "3.7V" is the "Nominal voltage", and 4.2V is what they are commonly charged to. There's a ton of discussions about it around here, and those people are smarter than I am. I just know that what you describe is normal and common.

Should be quite a difference. The eGo is not a true 3.7 device. They have a mosfet that limits them to 3.1v under load. That and the fact that the batts you will be using in the GLV should have a higher drain rate, yea, there should be a difference.
