Some 7-11's sell kits and maybe even disposables.

And if you have to smoke while you wait, maybe get some analogs you don't like. It won't make you a failure if you switch right back to vaping. I had to smoke when I had 3 no-charged-battery issues early on. I don't like the emergency cigs I have around so they were pretty gross so I was very happy when I got my stuff running again. I also ordered a crapload of batteries and charger and PTs so that won't happen again.

Well i forgot what video or website i went too but as per what message relayed to me was " An e-cig is not a replacement for a real cig. An e-cig only curbs the cravings for a real cig, so if you feel like having a real one go ahead. Nothing is wrong with have 1 or 2 or so on as long as you are cutting down. If you have it in your head that real cigs are no longer allowed then you will want it even more." So that's what helped me. I started as half a pack to a pack a day, but since I started e cig first week was maybe 1-4 real cig a day then it was 1-2 then none for the week but on weekends i give it to it because I am surrounded by smokers so I will have 1-4 for the weekend then on the weekday I will have none just Vaping.

Sometimes the eCigs are well hidden at the gas stations and 7-11s... Ask for them if you don't see them... they are often behind the counter out of view... it's an odd way to sell something, but hey, they would rather sell cancer sticks.

Now, regarding a few analogs to get you through... There are plenty of folks you will encounter in life that seem to be on a mission to break your spirit... it's a part of the deal... the ONE person you should always be able to count on to nurture and encourage you is YOUR SELF!

Don't beat yourself up! A pack of cigs or two is not going to kill you... A Lifetime of them is quite another thing. You will eventually learn to have backups of stuff on hand, and if by chance you find yourself stuck without a working eCig in spite of that, just go with the flow. If it takes an analog to get you through, don't stress yourself out over it.

Be gentle with yourself... the world already has too many critics.

Although I've never seen it on this or any other forum, would rubbing a little juice into the skin provide enough nic to tide one over until an order came in? When a little juice gets on my lips or tongue, it doesn't taste super bad, nor cause me any other problems.

I would not recommend doing that at all. Would be much safer to go out and get a Nicotine Patch or some gum to hold you over until your PV gets there.
