Just wanted to know if the single coil replacements will fit on the base of the EVOD GLASS?

According to Sweet-Vapes, the base and single coils from the Evod will not fit. However, they do note that the base on the Evod 2 is similar to that of the Protank 2 mini. I had ordered two Evod 2 Glass Clearos and two Protank 2 mini bases from Sun Vapors, and have been using the Evod 2 Glass on the Protank 2 mini bases with the Kanger single coils for a few days now, and so far have not had a problem.
Good to know. So if someone wants glass AND the metal cladding, picking up a spare PT2 mini base would let you keep just the single coils in stock.
Using a new single coil head in an Evod Glass (both official Kanger )right now and works fine,
cloned or the older type single coils might not. They also work OK in the mini protank 3.
I might actually prefer them as they hit a bit faster and seem to give as much vapour and flavour as the
dual coil heads.

How does the EVOD Glass compare to the mini PT2 or the mini PT3?
Re. mini protank 3... not sure how well that would work? There's a clear difference in the part at the bottom of the glass (i.e. not the base, but the next metal bit up). The silicone cup on the single coil heads would not meet that part. Some extra silicone washers, or using the part from the mini protank 2*, would allow it to be seal there though.
(* I think so, anyway... I have both, but haven't got round to swapping that part and trying this yet).
Haven't got an evod glass to compare, so can't say anything about that.
From my reading, the EVOD Glass should use the same coils as the Mini PT3. For what it's worth, I just tried a single T3/MT3 coil in my PT3 Mini and it seems to work without leaks. Therefore, they might work with the EVOD Glass or EVOD 2...
CountBoredom - After a couple of weeks of using both the Evod 2 Glass and the Mini Protank 2, my daughter and I have decided we like the Evod 2 Glass better. As a matter of fact, I just ordered 2 more and a couple more Mini Protank 2 bases tonight. The Mini Protank 2s will be retired to our "reserve" stash for emergencies.
That's great to hear--particularly since I ordered a whole bunch of them during an Easter sale this weekend. Should be here today or tomorrow. I'll let you know if the single coils fit.
Ok, so I got my Evod Glass yesterday. The coils for them are the same as those for the PT3 Mini (and, presumably, the Aerotank). However, while the PT3 Mini can use the single coils from the T3S/MT3S, the Evod Glass has a different base design and will not support the T3S/MT3S coil. So, it appears that to use single coils on the Evod Glass, one needs to use a PT2 Mini base (I cannot test this since I don't have one, but someone claimed this earlier).

Sun Vapers sells the Protank 2 Mini bases for $2.99 - I don't know if you can get them cheaper anyplace else.

By the way, the other clearos we have are Evods and Protank 2 Minis, which use the same single coils, so those are the single coils I am using. I do not know if they are the same as the coils for the T3S/MT3S coils.
In general, T3 coils will go in the others, but the PT/Evod ones won't go in the T3 series. The T3 coil has a smaller diameter ring at the base, so the bigger coils won't seat properly.
