I am wanting to make a portable high power mod so if I use a 12 volt 7Ah rechargeable scooter battery hooked to an automotive cigarette lighter accessory plug using a 5 volt 2.1 amp auto charger and passthroughs made for 5 volts will it work?

so basically this....

All of this will be contained in a custom carry case...

I don't see anything that would cause a problem, will also have an onboard trickle charger for the battery. Any suggestions or comment?

perhaps I should have said "long power" instead of high power...I want something that will last 2 people from 9 am to 9 pm. Don't know why I would need a trolly, will be in a carrying case with a handle and weigh well under ten pounds even with other goodies in the case. Thanks for the opinion and your non answer to the question tho...lol.

Depends on the battery output current, which I did not find, though to power scooters I suppose it is enough. For 2 people that usb converter probably doesn't deliver 2 amps to each port at the same time and likely has a cheap build. You might want to consider dual LM2596 converters instead and use better cabling solutions. You'd have VV and even displays to boot.

Why a monster size mc battery instead of a Portable Battery Charger's 9000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack?

Personally I would make some battery box passthroughs to plug in, with some lm2596's in them, rather than be limited to 4.2v, but that is just me (I prefer higher voltage). But if you prefer lower voltage, and find a higher spec dual USB plug it should work, especially if you don't vape on them at the same time. Just my rookie take on it, so take it with a grain of salt.

I agree with using an adjustable regulator board from eBay, or maybe even two if you're having two people vape at once. And if those scooter batteries are anything like the lead-acid batteries I change out in emergency lighting every day at work, you might want something different to hook up to the batt terminals. Like these: CONN .250" FLAG INSUL 14-16AWG - 19006-0011 . They be some heavy and leaky suckers (even the "non-leaking" ones). Good for scrappin'.
