Out of your suggested mods on that list I would choose the Prodigy V3.

1.) Its price for the full kit is under your projected price
2.) It is a great looking mod with a long lasting battery at either 3.7 or 6v
3.) Its a fully mechanical mod which means with the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse (or a possible FDA ban) you don't have to worry about anything but atomizers and juice.
4.) If you find out you like a higher voltage you can always just pick up a Terminator from Notcigs to get Variable Voltage.
5.) It looks pretty darn sweet and it has a little leaf on the side.
6.) Seriously though, that bottom locking button is awesome.

I'd add that I almost bought the V3 and instead went for the Precise.

In my opinion you wont go wrong with greatlakesvapor 5VGLV. It is the most solid/sturdy mod I have ever seen. I have dropped mine on cement more times than can count and it keeps on vaping. The switch is its best feature-it is solid and never misses a fire. The only negative I can see is the batteries only last 4-5 hours on a charge. Alot of mods can far exceed that time. The vapor you get from the GLV is massive and its more dense than a vape at 3.7
Good luck on making your final decision. Jenn

4- 5 hours on a charge, based on reviews and what I've read, is pretty good for a HV mod. For me as long as 1 set of batteries last longer than it takes for the other set to charge I'm fine. I'm never that far away from a power source. Also, what batteries does the 5v regulated version use? I couldn't find it on the website.

Yeah that thing is cool as heck! With a 901 atty the flavor is incredible. Big ole SOB though! I like it, but the could make it 1/2 that size. You'd lose some batt life but I think it would be a better option. I surely wouldn't be carrying one of those around:2c:.

1) Find out the date/location of the next local meet up.
2) Attend.
3) Try out the various devices that other members bring with them.

Maybe by then someone might even have one of these to try.

Here's my $0.02

1. Tekk Mod from Clouds Of Vapor - 5v and has KILLER battery life. Looks way cooler than a standard box mod, can charge your phone on it while you vape, and for $125 has the batteries built in, along with charger since it has a USB port - Downside: Not as rugged as a tube mod
2. GLV2 - Love love love mine - I do have a feel small complaints about it, but overall, the thing rocks. The offset atomizer just gives it a different feel than your run of the mill tube mod, plus the button is heaven...it will NEVER pocket fire and feels great when you click it. The body only kit runs $100 usually. So it would be right in your range

First, it is clearly stated in the rules

16. All contests will be presented to the moderation team. All rules and guidelines should be in place before presentation. Any contest listed without moderation team approval will be deleted.

Since I haven't been around much because of family health issues this was missed. Normally I would lock or delete the thread all together but since it has gone on this long I will let it continue one more day, at which time you must make your choice and hold up your end of the deal. You have been given a lot of great advice. It's time to pick one.

I don't want to enter the contest, just going to throw in my :2c: - GLV rocks! It is solid, the button is amazing, the mod itself is just so sturdy. I can't imagine life without it!

Go GLV, go GLV, go GLV!!!!!

Ok, so I'm a little biased in favor of the GLV, but I really hope that's what you go for because you will not be disappointed!

Since this contest is against the rules I'm ending it at 9 p.m. tonight. Tuesday 9/21/2010. I will announce the winner shortly after that. Obviously I should have read the PIF rules more closely. I glanced at them, but didn't notice rule 16. Sorry if I upset anyone this mistake was due to my own ignorance I was not trying to break any forum rules. I will P.M. the winner to get his/her address.

You're not in any trouble over this at all. Please don't think that way. We have just had problems with contests that weren't run by the mods first and like to keep problems to a minimum. Like I said, you can run this until tomorrow and take tonite to make your decision. Make sure you pick one that will suit you and your needs so don't do it in haste this evening. That was not my intent at all.

My final choice has been made and there was a tie. As I mentioned I would draw if this happened. The tie wasn't due to 2 people picking the same device, but due to the fact my 1st choice is not in production at the moment so I'm ordering my 2nd choice. I will be ordering a 5v GLV2 in Black Stardust. My 1st choice would have been the VMU Innovate but they are not being made at this time. I loved the fact it had a digital readout and you could adjust the voltage without a screwdriver. Thanks for the suggestion, Bob. Hopefully it will be available soon. I felt Rippleinstillwater made the best argument for the GLV 2 so I will put his name in the hat and draw the winner. I wish I had 2 kits to send one to each.

And the winner is:

zbasspro aka. Bob

I will send you a PM shortly.

I want a recount...... I think the darn thing was rigged if you ask me. I mean I never win anything???? Many thanks to jmaul99, like I told him I honestly would have went with the GLV myself and I was just throwing another option out there. So....now Kyle's quite a bit bigger than me, what's my best bet? I say pull the ole switcheroo while he's not looking......think he'll notice?:p Thanks again Jason. boB
