Actually it depends on what type of battery it is and how much it is used . . . However, with normal usage - it should last at a minimum - a full day . . . Just Sayin' . . .

IMO - It is great to be able to switch out batteries and also have the ability to use what you have on hand and/or better said - more efficiently, especially if you are going on a trip away from home and NEED to make them last longer . . .

First & foremost - SAFETY ! ! ! More Batteries = More Power . . . Some form of cautionary measure NEEDS to be incorporated so that those who around someone that doesn't know what they are doing or gets carried away can be protected . . . Just Sayin' . . .
