So I have been reading thousands upon thousands of pages here on the ECF and many of you have helped me to find wonderful and exciting new ways to suck upon many sizes of batteries in intriguing new ways so I just have to thank everyone here for being so helpful, even if none of you knew it up until now. Viva la Vape!

I've only been vaping for around a month now but I do believe that I have gone through most of the stages of the new addiction and am now awaiting a whole slew of new mods and flavors and am lamenting the depletion of my bank account not one bit.

In some ways I feel a bit bad about rejecting a plant that has been an integral part of my family's life for thousands of years but I am so looking forward to sharing a battery operated peace pipe with others soon. But for me I abused that poor little plant to the point where I really began to fear for my own well being, so now I shall try and see if I can get to a point where I can use that plant for ceremonial purposes, if need be, in the future. I am genuinely excited for the chance that e-cigs have given me to help re-evalutate and change my addictive nature and patterns for the better. Yes, I've managed to quit smoking but this new world of vaping has opened up so many new sensations that I don't think I'll ever be able to stop myself from experimenting with all this new gear and all these new flavors.

Hope all goes well for each of you also.

Sincerely,
Wingapo

It is nice to finally meet you Dormouse as I have read many thousands of your postings already in my search for knowledge regarding this wonderful new world of nicotine and flavor delivery systems. Viva la battery powered peace pipe!

As any proud ex-smoker knows we need backups for our backups. Every room of our homes need e-cigs and every car needs them too. When need cabinets, drawers and shelves full of supplies, just in case. Why have just the equivalent of a carton when we can have a years supply of nic juice for the same price. Yeah, I may never save any money switching over to vaping but I sure will get more bang for my buck. Now all I have to do is convince myself that I don't need to eat so I can get more goodies in the mail instead. Been eyeing a couple more mods and then I think I'll be set until I realize the wait times and have to order some things to tide me over until they arrive.

I had a slight mishap with my first e-cig and that immediately spiraled me into "I need backups mode." So of course my emergency fund proved most useful in insuring that I would have enough supplies to last me at least two years, just in case.

Sincerely,
Wingapo

Thank you for the warm welcome Seabrook. I am one of those that has to know all that I can about a new subject so that I can have some understanding of what to ask. For now the only major question I can think to ask is, "Just how can I stop myself from ordering more stuff to tide me over while I'm waiting for my new Precise 16340 and GLV-2 Super Mini to ship?" I used to be a very patient person until I discovered the world of mods and now I've had to go on a PV bender just to help distract me from the two PV's I researched that look to be the best fit for me. Then again I think the Reo Mini and Buzz Pro should provide some relief from agonizing wait, not to mention my new favorite pastime of my very first e-juice alchemy set. And one more question, "Will this new found addiction to PV's ever die down?," I've got bills and such to pay too.

Sincerely,
Wingapo

How do DC2? Why yes I do believe I did come across that thread and a few similar ones regarding the Mist In The Woods Buzz Pro mod mods. Sooooo pretty! But if I went that route what would I do with all the veneers I have out in my workshop? I've got to have some way to customize my new custom mods. Or should I do some 17th century early colonial engravings on my new Buzz Pro? Or should I take it down the road to my friend who does insane anodizing jobs. I could plate it in 24k. This whole line of thinking is thanks to fine enablers such as yourself, keep up the good work.

Yippie! Seabrook called me normal! I did kind of get the feeling that overkill on the ECF doesn't even begin to describe the level of love we all have for our preferred PV's and such. So I am most happy to find myself in the company of like minded individuals. Thanks again all for guiding me spiraling towards bankruptcy.

And you're doing a fine job of it too. There's a poll around here that asks, "How much do you spend on vaping a year," they don't have a category for more than mortgage payments or the cost of a Cadillac deVille or even a Bentley option. Thanks to people such as yourself my first born's going to community college instead of Harvard now, sorry kid. Luckily I don't have children as of yet so they can't be mad that I raided their college fund to fund my new habit.

Nice to meet you Classwife. Everyone here is a such total bad influence, but in such a good way. I love it! I'm beginning to think that the Buzz Pro may just need a custom engraving job with 24k accents, but if I go that route there will be no hope left for little ole' me.

My avi is the Rio Grande Gorge here in Taos. It's my office and my playground. It is also where my PV's will have to prove their metal to make it into my collection. So, I have a feeling that 100% bonafide mechanical mods will be the way to go for me, but I am hoping the Buzz Pro is as sturdy as they say it is as I think it would be a fine thing to vape VV while bouncing around the office on a rope or in a raft. Luckily, many here also convinced me to try the GLV-2 Super Mini, Prcise 16340, and Reo Mini (I just couldn't see using the Reo Grande while out and about even though it is a bit more fitting due to my local).

Nice to meet you mtv0987. I'm working on doing great but so far vaping is proving a more expensive habit than smoking ever was. I'm hoping that once I have everything my little heart desires that I will begin to start seeing some monetary savings as well as my increased health. Right now if I had to put up one of those little banners like yours it would say something like, "Quit smoking but I've been to busy vaping to figure out how many cigarettes I've avoided and I ain't saved squat."
