Hi Folks, Given that September is now here and winter is fast approaching I was wondering if folks avoid frozen juice shipments?

I started vaping early last spring and now that my tastes have settled and I have settled into a half dozen fav juices (of the billion tried) I was planning on doing a couple large orders to get through the winter. Instinct is telling me ice-cube juice bottles in the mailbox may affect 'performance'.

Thoughts? Any experience out there with how a freeze/thaw affects juice? Do the vets out there avoid winter shipping? Perhaps this isn't a concern but I am leaning on stocking up regardless to be safe -- besides, the idea offers some extra steeping opportunity for fun.

A search turned up some threads about freezing nic but I am also concerned about flavour, etc too.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense that cold would be fine since slowing down oxidation would be a good thing. I didn't even think about the freezing point of PG...'duh' on the ice-cube thought. Appreciated folks. I feel dumb now not thinking it through but will chalk it up to the hyper-paranoid, overplanning ways of a nic addict.

The spare ego650s I've squirreled away at various family, friend and neighbour locations as ultra-backups would probably be considered by non-vapers to be a tad disturbing too, ha, but I know you guys understand.

The only thing to consider and worry about regarding winter shipments is Chinese Newyear !!! Beleive it or not I am serious :(

I started vaping in Jan and the Chinese new year JUST about had me smoking again. I have a good supply built up now so it shouldn't be a problem. Moral of the story, stock up in early January!

I DIY and I avoid ordering juice in the summer at all cost and store all my juice in the freezer until I'm ready to mix. Once mixed I store them in the fridge. Just before use I will 'open cap' steep for one day and I'm good to go. Keeping this routine also ensures that I have quality controls in place and get the same great taste every time. Juices do change with time/steeping/heat. Avoid direct sunlight.

OMG ANTIFREEEEZE IT'S POISON! Ugh, non-toxic antifreeze...I am seriously waiting, hoping, for someone to try pulling that card on me in the real world.

Winter shipping here just means the mail person needs an umbrella, and maybe has to walk over the week of snow/slush we get every couple years. Though if it does snow everyone loses their ability to drive as soon as a snowflake hits the pavement, so delays may ensue.
