After reading all of this thread.which took me some time so I could understand all that I was reading, I decided to try out some wire rope. After checking Lowe's and Home Depot, hey you never know and may get lucky, I scored at Tractor Supply. Or so I thought, I couldn't find a magnet in that place to save me. So I bought 2 feet of 1/16 and 3/32 size. Cool, $3.00 isn't bad at all. But after returning home and using one of the many refrigerator magnets the Boss Lady has, I discovered that now I have two one foot sections of wire rope that I have to find a need for. Too short to make a whip out of, too tough to use for dental floss but I'm sure I can come up with something that I can use it for.
Now I have to do a road trip to a West Marine that carries all 3 sixes I'd like to have. I need an excuse to go riding any way. I plan on using the rope in a DID clone I have, an AGT that I've been keeping around for giggles, old style that the top cap screws on and my new RSST. I have at least a dozen mesh wicks that I've made but haven't been able to get working right like I think they should be. But I am very hopeful that the wire rope will give me a vape that I can be proud of.
Thanks to all the people that contributed to this discussion and also the ones that took the time and effort to explain all of the little incites that make it easy for us that are prone to trying but never can seem to get it right.
Just to let you know, my avatar is the only thing I "smoke" now. Peace on and keep on vaping. Thanks, Johnny B
