Wiring A Wood Box Mod For Dummies

Just want to double check my wiring plan. Any confirmations or guidance is appreciated. The layout is a standard switch on the left side of the box as you are looking at it; 510 on top; battery positive side up to the right:

1. Switch wired to positive 510 pin and positive battery post.
2. Ground wire off 510 to negative battery post.

Can't get more basic than that. Please confirm this will work.

14guage at 15amp limit..Should be good to go with my builds.
