wiring adjustable 510 for unregulated box mod

Hi guys im new to the forums so i can only post in the new members group, in the future i will keep my posts to the correct pages

So my question is how would i go about wiring an adjustable 510 connection (such as a chi you stealth top cap) on an unregulated box mod so i can adjust it to fit whichever atty i decide to throw on there. i have done a lot of research on safely building a box mod so once this question is answered i can get started ! ive also seen the spring loaded 510s from fatdaddyvapes and was wondering if that would be a better option, any input would be much appreciated ! thanks !

Not completely clear on your question but a 510 would have a center pin connection you can solder to that that's your positive. the negative will be the housing of the 510 if your building a box mod of metal the 510 can be pressed in and you can connect your negative to the box with a small screw or solder it to the connectors sidewalls. hope this is what you needed

thank you ! yeah that answered my question i was just unsure about wiring a chi you top cap. so go for a metal box, solder positive wire to center pin on the chi you top cap and negative wire to box (ground) ?

Yep the 510 when fitted to the box will make the box the negative so a negative wire secured in the box anywhere would complete the circuit.

If the box is not metal, wood, plastic, or whatever, you will need to run a wire from the negative of the battery to the side of the 510.
