Woo-Hoo.....the 510 is waiting for me out in the mailbox!!

Getting up enough courage to walk out there and get it - don't know why, lol

Have smoked 100/110 menthols for 35yrs (1pk/day) and I'm so ready for this.

Thank you to all of the posters on this forum for sharing their knowledge. I have been reading NON-STOP since Saturday morning, and think I'm prepared as I'll ever be! Besides that, I need to stop watching YouTube mod videos and get back to work making some money to pay for all this, lol

Did anyone else fret over what it will be like to wake up in a few days and just smell the reek of stinky smoke in your home? Or am I just weird?! For some reason, I dread finding out what my house smells like after 5yrs of working from home and puffing away like a chimney. Although I know it stinks, I just don't want to face that for some reason - must be my own inflicted shame and embarrassment :( I suppose I'll spend the weekend cleaning walls from top to bottom!

Okay......Here I go......I'm sure I'll be back in a short bit to ask more questions!!

Thanks again,
Karen

You'll do great Karen! My first one freaked me out a bit too... now looking back it seems silly. So don't worry, you'll be vaping like a pro in no time. Keep a drop of liquid on the atomizer bridge each time you top off the cartridge (or if you taste a slightly burning vapor) and you'll do great.

You can quickly clean your walls with Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner and some big towels. Spray on and let sit for a bit and it'll melt that crud right off and really help the smell of the house!

Congrats Karen! Good luck to you. I'm sure you'll enjoy the 510. I love my 510. You better get some febreeze, the stick of cigs are gonna gross you out. Make sure you drink lots of water. Ask any, and/or all questions here on ecf, the members here are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Welcome Karen and good luck!! :D :toast:

I was a little unsure when I first started vaping (a whole 3 weeks ago! LOL!) but I just feel so much better now and the flavors you can try are all just amazing! I never smoked in my house because of my kiddos but I did in my car and at first the smell did kind of knock me over but thankfully I was able to get rid of it!
Plus this forum is filled with great people who are not only extremely knowledgable (did I spell that right?? ) but they are super friendly too!! Keep us posted on how you are doing!

Good luck!!!!
When I quit smoking the first time a couple years ago, I did smoke in my house too and at first the smell was overwhelming.
I spent an entire weekending cleaning EVERYTHING. But you know what, the cleaning helped make me even more aware of what I had been doing to my body and made me feel even better and stronger about quitting analogs! I didn't have vaping back then, either! You'll do great!
They make some great odor removers now by the way. More than just febreeze. I forget what it was called but it was a green and white spray bottle and I got it at wal-mart. I remember it made things smell kinda piney...but it worked very well! :)

OMG - I think I like this!!!

I've already tasted a burnt addy, gotten juice in the mouth, and nearly burned my lips

But - Get this....

I went to the corner store around 11pm, thinking I should get a bottle of wine and celebrate this night

Got the cheap bottle (Saeed was SHOCKED I wasn't getting my normal ciggy butts), got gas, then OMG - my car died

has.never.happened.before

I was kinda beside myself in a heavy rainstorm, no less

BUT - for some reason i grabbed my 510 on the way out the door - just my PV and my CC - NO cellphone

I was shakin in my boots when my SUV died a 2nd time just merrily driving down the road - CHECK ENGINE light blaring the whole time

That dang 510 got my thru all my scardy-ness

SO....long story short - I think I made it - been vapin away since I got home, and still have no desire to pick up the real/other/analog thing!!

HUGE THANKS again guys - you are the best on this forum!

now.....to figure out what's wrong with my car engine :(
