First off, I apologise if this is in the wrong section, feel free mods to move if so.

I got a Wismec reuleaux Gen 3 today, stuck in 3 batteries and worked like a charm for a few hours.

Later on I went back to it and it won't fire, it says check battery, or battery low. But its only showing on one battery, specifically number 1 battery.

Ive checked youtube vids etc but can't seem to find anything to help this issue. I don't mind stripping things down but thought Id ask here to see if anyones had this issue before.

Cheers

Couple of possible battery issues:
-Batteries were not put in with correct sides up
-not all batteries were properly charged
-there may be debris such as a hair in the battery box between the battery connectors
-you have bad/fake batteries.

All the possible mod related issues, and again there are several, require replacement of the product so there is little need to go into them

Yeah the batteries are all fine, they work in my other mod, ah well looks like it will need replaced then. Shame
That only solves one issue: are the batteries bad/fake. They still need to be put in with the correct sides up in the correct positions and have unimpeded contact

That mod will not turn on if the batteries are not in the correct orientation, or if one is not present.

Are the batteries married?
How old are they?

If the batteries are not married and used in the set of three all the time, then that is likely the issue. That mod seems to be bad about throwing fits and draining batteries very unevenly if the batteries have uneven wear on them.

Oops... @Zaryk beat me to it...

Yeah, but it really reinforces the point that the batteries need to be married.

I tried using unmarried batteries in mine when I first got it, while impatiently waiting for my new batteries for it to arrive, and my gen 3 just wasn't having it. It would drain the batteries unevenly and have very short run time before throwing out the battery warnings.

Hmm that could be something to consider seeing as ive only had mods with dual batteries. I do have 4 identical batteries that have been on a rotation, so basically two married couples, just seems strange only battery one is coming up flashing all the time.

It probably has something to do with how the mod reads the batteries, or how it draws power from them, but battery one was my problem battery as well when I ran an unmarried set in mine.

Woe betide batteries living in sin. Far better the sanctity of marriage... wait, there’s THREE of them? This is getting weird.
