Wismec Rx300 won't stay in Temp SS with my coils

I am making coils 25 peg SS Fused Clapton Wire reading 0.10 on meter I go to Temp/SS setting and try to take a hit and it sends me back to power/mode not sure if I'm doing something wrong my firmware is up to date any help thanks mike

I have noticed on a few mods that they shift back to power mode with certain types of SS. Ive never figured out if its the formulation of the SS or what but since you can run SS in power mode anyway I just go with it

Ok I'm using geek 24ga SS fuse clapton and it sends me back to power mode I'll just run it for now on in power mode you know of any good wire that would work like coil master straight SS316L would work

I don't have a 300, but my 200s seem to work better in TCR mode. Tell me what grade of SS is in the coils you're getting and I can provide a TCR number or you can google it. Welcome to the board.

I'm wondering if your fused SS build that has very low ohms is causing this? I have no idea, but some setups can get so complicated, that it may be hard for temp control to read them? It's just a guess, but you certainly can run it in either wattage or temp.

I had no problem using temp with a single coil, around 1.14 ohms SS316L coil in temp control with my Steampunk, which I think has a pretty well-made TC system, but I don't know as much about your mod, I apologize. I think with any new mode though, starting out simply may help you. I'd wrap something of slightly higher resistance if you can, or maybe a single, spaced coil?
