and it was working great until yesterday i changed the coil and the wick and kept on getting burn hits up to now i have tried every thing new coil wicking styles and even small wicks big wicks cleaning every thing and resembling please can someone assist me putting me on the right track i just cant seem to get it right
ps i tried the notch coil it does the same from 16 watts up

Hi Dane & welcome
That is a great combo and I have 4 or 5 of them on the go most of the time. I like them because they are simple and yet give good clouds & good taste with normally no problems. (by the way you can pick the mod & atty up at Efuntop at the moment for $15 & $10, I just received another 3 each to add to my stash, I already had 6 Evics and 5 Theorems)

The notched coils usually run about 0.26 ohms and I find they vape nicely around 35 to 45 watts depending on the juice and how I'm feeling that day. With the Theorem's visible and simple wicking system it is pretty simple to look and see if the cotton has enough juice on it (I've always switch out their cotton with rayon because it works & tastes better than cotton) so dry hits shouldn't normally be related to your wicking unless you gone way off base somehow but I doubt that is the problem.

That would lead me to believe you've got a power problem, too much power to the coil causing those dry hits. So here are a few things to try or consider;
- what mode are you using? It should be the power/wattage mode as the notched coils are not compatible with temperature control modes
- what power setting are you using, I've noted my preferences above
- you've commented that the notched coil is dry hitting above 16 watts which suggests either a coil problem or a problem with the mod
- do you have another mod to try the Theorem on since maybe there is something not working right with it
- look at your notched coil carefully and ensure it hasn't been pushed up against one of the posts creating a shorter route for the electricity as this would change its resistance
- what is the resistance on your coil, if the notched coil is not measuring around 0.26 ohms there may be something wrong with that coil

That's about all I can think of unless it is somehow related to your juice. If you burn cotton badly enough the bad taste can transfer into the juice in the tank but with your comments about cleaning & rewicking the atty, and I presume re-juicing it, I doubt that is the problem either. I suspect the most likely culprit is either the mod or its settings. Any more detail you can provide would help us diagnose the problem.
