Hi i got my provari yesterday and 1st thing i noticed, when i stuck a tank on there, was it was sitting crooked so i nudged it to stand straight without much force it did sit straight but it does feel lose with whatever i put on it. I put a 510-510 adapter on it cos i dont want to wear the threads but it also wobbles and doesnt fit snug ==

You may simply be running into the issue of poorly made mass production devices on top. Smok tanks are horrible for fit. threading is undersized.
Don't over tighten but definitely snug your device and it should be fine. Some give is common on most connectors but it should not wobble on its own.
If nothing snugs up contact Provape

Hi, Nathanael. The items, which I connect to the top of mine, do not wobble. Take the 510 connector off and attach whatever it is that you are using and see if that makes a difference.

just put on my vivi nova and it fit beautifully all the way and snug. i noticed b/c it's a 3.5ml tank it uses the top of the drip well to keep it from wobbling when locked but everything else i put on when i look at it feels crooked just looking at it and moving it with my finger.

this is what im seeing now:

provape addressed this in a FAQ

so it'd need to lower the center pin by hitting it with a hammer T-T should i?

Sure, the Provari is tough. But be certain to only hit the center pin. Use something of appropriate size (some type of punch tool) for just the center pin and don't hit it directly with the hammer. May not take much force to correct it.

"You can try tapping on the center pin a few times to lower the internal pin. Just use a flat small tool centered on the top cap pin then lightly tap a few times with a hammer."

I wouldn't according to that post it might not then make contact with something else you use in the future, once you pound it it you aren't going to get it to come back out if that happens so then you would might lose contact in the future with some unknown topper

Mine also lops a little with certain different tops but they all make good contact, so if it works I would leave it alone, id rather it sit ever so slightly crooked than not make contact and not work at all, I think its quality control of the atty's clearo's carto's etc threads

Well I don't know I could crank down hard my Vivi's so there is no gap but I don't tighten anything down like that ... I just snug it just to make a good contact

If you don't like the way its connector is I would send it back ... my Provari is a lot different than say my Vamo, the vivi's basically stop dead when you thread them on, where on the Provari they snug they don't stop dead, so I just tighten it until its snug, I don't crank it down
