Im thinking in Los Angeles county. I am not sure which city yet, but what do you think? I see and hear about locations popping up all over the place and was asked to invest in one, but what is the risk here?

I dont know how long you've been vaping but based solely on your join date Id say give yourself at least 6 months here absorbing all the information and reading every thread you can before putting your hard earned money into it. This gets you past April as well when you'll have a better idea of whats happening in regards to the FDA.

You are correct, I have not been vaping for a while. My first one was probably in 2006, it was the Blu type of ecig, no flavor and no hit. I remember I got sick with a very dry throat the day after.

But these new vaporizors are the shiznit! I was able to go from a pack and a half a day to anywhere between 1-5 cigarettes a day. I was truly amazed. Even though I still had that urge for the cigarette, the flavoring stopped me. I mean, I was vaping Cappuccino and when I smoked that cigarette, it tasted like burning rubber. I was really impressed and bet the smoking world that has not been able to experience this would also feel the same.

Its a shame that the government that was built to serve their people has become more of a money hungry giant corporation.

I have been seeing the date April here and there. Is this when they will make their decision of what is going to happen with these ecigs?

Thats the date that Ive heard discussed in several threads. They are actually proposing deeming legislation that would give them the ability to outlaw any electronic cigarette or related device produced before 2007.

Do you mean the company itself or the ecig product itself? Ive had one probably around 06 and man, there is no way you can quit with those things. I spent a hundred bucks on it and threw it away the very next day. Stupid cigarette companies trying to ..... us everyway possible.

If they manage to pass this legislation then they'll kill two birds with one stone....No devices and there wont be any companies left to sell them. I agree, theres no way Id ever go back to an old KR808A for any reason now.

The FDA will be publishing in the Federal Register sometime between now and the end of April their proposed deeming order and regulations for electronic cigarettes When we finally get to see those proposed regulations we will finally know what their proposed regulations are. Even then, there will be a comment period to follow and then we will wait again to see what actual regulations are put into place.

Because of everything the FDA has done in the past regarding our ecigs and what they have continued to do since loosing the court battle in 2011 there is no reason to believe the FDA won't do everything in their power to decimate the current ecig industry with their new regulations.

I refuse to give up hope of a better outcome then I am expecting but there is no way I would be sinking money into a new ecig venture right now until after I saw those proposed regulations.

I guess I will wait til April and like Zapped says, it gives me more time into looking into more info on vaporizers. Thanks for all the great advice. Looking at other countries, it looks like everyone is having the same problem with their government. Our country is starting to look more and more like a communist country and funny thing is a communist country like China doesn't seem to have any problems with it.
One day this great nation will fall because of federal greed. Look at it now, Washington and Colorado is now allowing recreational ........., a federally illegal substance prescribed by accredited doctors! The feds plan to ban guns and a state, forgot, but I think it was Wyoming that said if any police officers plan to confiscate guns if there was a ban in place, will be imprisoned for 2 years. Wow.
