So my kit finally arrived!!! I timed my last pack of analogs pretty good...only 2 left in the pack. I got the batteries charging immediately so when my analogs are all gone the e-cig will be all I have and I can't go back. Oh the advantages I will have with this...no more standing in the rain, cold, wind and extreme heat for a smoke anymore. I can now sit in my home and be comfortable. I got the V4L Vapor King Titan Ultimate in lavender. I think I am going to be very happy with my initial set up. Besides, my tobacco flavor, I also got a cola, chocolate and a butterscotch as well. I even got myself 808 to 510 adapters just in case I need them some day. I want to thank everyone again who helped me out with so much information. I am so glad I found the EFC!!!

It showed up this early in the morning?

You sound like a kid at Christmas! Shiny new toy! Shiny new toy!

Glad to hear you so excited. And beyond your angst over the color choice (purple sounds cool) I like that you went the "belt & suspenders" approach and got the 510 adapters in your first order. A horribly practical, non purple thing to do.

Happy vaping! Will be watching for any questions. Yay!

Congrats! Hope everything works well for ya:)

DEA7H, I am so happy with my kit so far! Thanks!

Have fun. If you can, ya might also save at least one cig to smoke after a few hours of vaping. ;)

KuroCz,

I smoked my last analog today. I had to try my new toy! The first thing I noticed as I smoked my last one...how heavy the smoke actually was compared to the lightness of the vapor, there is a difference. I do like this better.

Thanks Rick....so I even got the manual on my pass-through, also purple!!! I do see the difference in the TH. I have chocolate on my pass-through, I have a tobacco and a butterscotch carto with my 2 autos in the carrying case and a cola on my XL auto battery. They all seem to have really good flavoring. I am really happy with my purchase!

Now I do have a somewhat dumb question....since I do live in the PNW. I do tend to smoke when I walk my dog out of habit, how do these devises react to being used in certain weather conditions? Like Rain? Granted it hasn't rained here much lately, but just would like to know so if it's not safe, I can start to break that habit too.

Thanks again,
Jobisma:)

So happy for you! Do let us know how you get on with your kit!

Paulette,

Thanks you so much. So far I love my kit! I had my last analog today and have tried all the flavors. The butterscotch is my favorite! I am sure I will have more to report as I get more familiar with it!

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll have many happy hours together ;)

Lisa,

Thanks so much for all the help you have given me. I really appreciate it. I do love my kit. Of course it is a girly color....lavender! Except my pass-through is a metallic purple. I knew I would love the butterscotch! LOL Chocolate and Cola are not too bad either! I even like the tobacco it's a very nice blend. I am sure I will have many happy hours with my kit! Thanks!:p

Umm... I think I understand your question. The biggest outdoors complaint seems to be: wind. Same kind of problem if you have a fan blowing on your face too. It's like "Where'd it go?" - any sensation of vapor in your mouth & throat seems to disappear when you take a drag and there is wind blowing in your face.

The other question you might have been asking (lol) is what goes on with auto batteries? Wind can be a real problem for auto batteries, possibly turning them on. Each auto battery can behave differently so you might find you have a preferred battery that is less sensitive to wind than the others. Just gonna have to try 'em out and see what happens. You may find you prefer the manual out and about because of this.

Beyond that... nothing all that much else weather dependent. Being in Boston I get your weather profile, not quite as soggy as PNW. You never want to get these things wet though, wet to the point of water getting into the battery. Tricky managing an e-cig, dog lead & an umbrella. Walk the e-cig... Walk the dog... Walk the e-cig... Walk the dog... Hmmm. Decisions, decisions....

Rick,

First of all sorry it took so long to get back to this. I have been busy with my mom the past few days, and she has no wireless access. I did discover the wind problem...with sitting near the air conditioner and fans. It's not so bad if I don't sit with directly blowing in my face.
The passthrough is manual, it is stronger like everyone said. I have a chocolate carto on that one. I honestly don't miss the analogs. I wish I had done this sooner. I am breathing easier, and of course my clothes don't always smell like smoke.

I laughed at your mention of umbrella! Of course, I do actually own one, but like some PNW'ers..I rarely use one. I enjoy walking in the rain, just not an extreme heavy downpour. Maybe I'll just make a raincoat for my e-cig! LOL Either that or just leave it at home on rainy days while walking the dog.

Congrats!! I'm waiting patiently for my first kit I can relate to your excitement though!!! Wish I discovered ecigs earlier!!!

Fifthflo,

I hope you have gotten your kit by now, and that you love it just as much as I love mine! Good luck! Enjoy and have fun! This is so worth getting off analogs!
