Wood Box Mod

I have been thinking of getting one. I have looked around. I am having a real hard time finding what I am looking for. I found some mods in google images that looked really neat like the phidias, monkeyboxx, and some others. The problem is none of these guys have sites or are long gone. Pretty much looks like the Reo is it, and no offense to them or any of their owners, but the custom look of the ones I mentioned is more along my tastes. Segmented wood, cool patterns, etc.. I have also seen the Billetbox which I realize isn't wood, but once again unobtainable. I saw one pic of a wooden tube on a caravella mod that was sweet, otherwise everything I am finding just isn't visually pleasing to me. Please if someone knows where the cool mods exist, please share. Also, would be great if you could at least have vv. Thanks. Don't mean to sound like a rant, just have spent an hour looking and can't seem to find anything that is still around.

I don't know what's all out there right now, but you might want to get verified and check out the classifieds. Put out a wanted to buy add maybe. I know just recently there have been some Monkeboxx's for sale.

You could always look into guitar luthiers. Do a google search to see if you have any local. They usually have stocks of pretty wood, and the amount you would need to make a box mod would be scrap to them anyways. I see that you already have some box mods for measurements.

Phidias is still around, but it's more of a hobby for Fono, so I don't know if he has any for sale. He checks his thread regularly.

Did you want a bottom-feeder or just a box mod? They are around, but you have to look. There are some on this thread (although I was wrong when I posted monkeyboxx was still a live site)

Check the suppliers section for the smaller, artisan vendors. I know there are a couple more I can't think of.
