Wood Flavor?

Sorry, the search function here escapes me. I am one of those ex smokers that thought they wanted a real smoke flavor. Aint gonna happen. The "tobacco" flavors are hit and miss. NET is on order.

Meanwhile I remember one of my tricks for cold turkey quitting was to chew on popsickle sticks. The wood flavor mimics the tobacco flavor to me. So I am looking for a wood flavor.

My ADV has revealed an apple taste lately and another brand has a butter creme hint. I find I like a little sweet taste as well. I think BT put sucralose in cigs. I guess ideally I want a woody flavor with sweet and maybe a hint of apple and a creamy aftertaste. Maybe not. I am starting to vape other flavors and maybe some day I won't care for chasing cig tastes.

TFA has red oak flavoring, that is the only one I know of off the top of my head...

Flavour Art makes an Oak Wood flavor. I've never tried it, but here is their description: The aged and smooth notes of wood. Useful to round off liquers and drinks.

Popsicle sticks are probably from ash tree. I dunno if oak is would suit you, but maybe worth a shot.

Another place has a hickory that they say gives a BBQ flavor. I've seen some pre made juice listed as applewood and some others.

Here is a recipe I have been refining, its not quite ready yet, so dont expect it to be perfect. I still think its missing a little... something. Its still a good vape though. Strong tobacco with a sweet and smokey bourbon undertone.

(Unnamed thus far)
8% TFA Kentucky bourbon
3% TFA Red Oak
1.5% TFA Mtype

I mixed plain walnut (not the black walnut) @ 10% and it was just like pipe tobacco to me.

You might try TFA honey black (if you like the pipe tobacco taste), or TFA cubano (it s/b obvious what they're trying to do there). You might also have a look at TFA smooth tobacco flavor - it does something similar to what I've heard about vape wizard: stabilizes the flavor.

I believe I got my walnut flavoring from madvapes. I get all my stuff from wizardlabs now but they never seem to have plain walnut.

Roger, I saw a recipe here that I can't find now that had a honey tobacco with apple something else. Of course I can't find it.

I need to venture out of my norm and get some of these flavors before the hot weather hits.

The Mtype tobacco gives the tobacco flavor. It is a very strong flavor so use it carefully. It also requires a fair bit of steep time to mellow out. Experiments so far have resulted in at least four hours in an ultrasonic cleaner. I dont know what that would translate to in normal steep time. It is a very unique tobacco, unlike any of the others. IMO it comes the closest to old fashioned fragrant rolling tobacco,

Paul I did an advanced search with "honey" and "apple" (obviously w/o the quote marks). Came up w/ four pages of threads. I suggest you do the same, because you may recognize it by the thread subject. I won't, because I don't recall off hand what you're talking about.
