Hi all, first wooden mech mod in my care. It's a G4 silver wolf, now it arrived with a lacquer on it which is now wearing, there's a small crack appearing on one of the corners. What's the best way and with what to maintain it ?
Thanks.
Ringo.

If you are 100% sure it is lacquer then it is an easy fix. Get a can of clear spray lacquer and give it a few coats on the areas that need it. The new lacquer will chemically bond with the old one. Google how to test whether it has lacquer or shellac or poly. Howard's feed and wax is mainly used when wood is not finished with any of those.
