Woodvil Question

Hey guys, just got my Woodvil today and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Now I can appreciate what all you guys have been raving about!

My question is, I noticed that there is a tiny switch at the bottom, what is this for?

Haha, I have had a Woodvil for a couple of weeks and never noticed the switch. I am not very observant.
