Woodvil with Guitar finish

Has rob ever had any thoughts of putting a finish on a woodvil like they use on guitars? I'm not sure what kind of paint/clear coat is used but I think a Candy Apple Red Woodvil with a door/ front piece cut out of a 3-layer pick guard and tapered outward would be the bees knees.

Can call it the Reocaster.

Im one step ahead of you if what wood I ordered pans out. Not sure what the name will be but it will be on the VV REO.

That sounds like a case of RT's.... (REO Tremens!) Rob wouldn't let a bunch of mod totin juice junkies suffer......MUCH!
