Hi everyone,

Today is the one-week mark for me on e-cigarettes exclusively. I have always worked out quite a bit -- mainly focused on strength training and Pilates. I hate cardio, so this isn't about lung capacity, but I've noticed a change in how my body feels while I'm working out. It's like the exercises are a LOT harder now...not that I get fatigued easier...more like I can actually feel my muscles working. In other words, I don't think it's negative.

Is this something to do with quitting analogs? All I can find on Google about quitting smoking and working out is related to cardio. I'm wondering if my workouts are more effective without all that toxic crap in my system. Anyone go through this too? I could just be having one of those weeks where it all feels difficult.

It may have to do will feelings "nothing but feelings".seriously you may be able to feel stuff better without the 4000 strange chemicals going thru your body and be in better touch with what a good pain workout should be.Just wait till you want to spray the other people in the gym with lysol when smell comes back into play .

I noticed pretty quickly, within a month or 2 that I could run a lot farther and faster, full sprints now, and a 5 second breather would suffice if I needed a break...The weight training seemed to pick up, because I wasnt fatigued as quickly, so I pushed harder, and felt it in the morning. But I also recover quicker now, so I wont complain. But yes, sweat used to smell bad, but now its just viscous on the nose.
