Where were you when I got this idea? Dang! I could have used your brain! There is only 8 days left before National & World Vaping Day. No time. I do have at least one vendor posting this thread on his website and hoping to get a couple more.
If there is a next year, will you be willing to help out? I don't mind doing this on a yearly basis. This is my first time to ever try anything like this. I would love to have your help, if there is a next year.
i think i started vaping in sept last year but i really forget i just know i got an early xmas present bc my mom wanted me to stop smoking and it totally worked haha...this is cool i am glad you guys are here and coming up with such ideas to spread the word even more about the positives of vaping...i dont even remember my quit date as it wasnt a huge deal for me i had only smoked a few years and i have a more important quit date from certain substances you put into needles...this is cool tho i barely know any vapers around me tho, only 2 that i know of but im sure we will vape all day and i will write a letter to my local paper and to the bigger town next to me.
I'm going to be posting email addresses that you will be able to copy and paste into the BCC part of an email. I hope you come back here and get those addresses when I get them posted. I don't want to do it too soon. Probably the night of the 18th, so people will have them for the 19th, World & National Vaping Day.
That comment was not directed at this thread. That is something I've experienced in other areas; campaign, legislative oriented areas.
The Daily Action Plan was a stroke of genius and I bet few have heard of it. That should have a banner and a signature to get it kicked off. Maybe another contest?
i will do it i think it is a very cool idea! i have people everywhere always asking me about my vapes and thinking they are crazy bc all they have seen are the blu ecigs...pretty much every day i have to explain something about whatever vape i have to someone...it should be a lot more popular than it is even now, best way to quit cigs evarrrr haha

Yeah, almost a year for me vaping only now. I am amazed how well this works.
my first ones were the joyce 510s and i smoked on and off for a few months still until i got a spinner so i actually quit in like february altogether...i have nicer mods now but i took my spinner to therapy today i still love that thing with this really nice carto tank i got called a sidewinder with a side fill-hole. still a great device really..

That's the point. They are loosing business and I'd like to point it out.
Starbuck's claimed it was purely a business decision (we'd scare off their non-smoking customers). Yea, were scarey.

Seriously, to pull off a national event of any size can take at least 6 months of organization. It's also much easier to pull off as part of an overall ongoing plan. CASAA could arrange some sort of a fundraiser/contest every month to build the momentum. They could be loosley aligned to CASAA's goals - since outreach is one of their goals.
There are 2 big vape events happening in 10 + days. It's too late for a fun run, but is there another contest that people could pay to enter - largest cloud? There's also the possibilty of Vegas vs Anaheim for largest cloud. Of course, there would be prizes.
(Vegas or Anaheim would get the distinction of a plaque or trophy)
Shoot. Largest cloud could be an annual national event like a tournament.
Time to get a little wacky. Eliquid contest (like a bake off?)
Then there's Halloween.

i was vaping in starbucks the other day...they didnt say a word to me...was in noblesville indiana...i like how u can stealth vape by holding in the hits so you dont blow anything out...i even do that in my group therapy lol and when i was taking classes at ivy tech.
I agree totally with everything you are saying. I didn't actually get this idea until about ...... what ...... a week ago. Just from talking in another thread and it got bounced around. Well, here we are trying to do this in a very short time.
I will have to remember your suggestions and put them to CASAA at the next meeting.
With World Vaping Day and National Vaping Day on the same day this year, what are your plans to celebrate?

The idea.......... *drum roll* that everyone would be able to participate in, no matter where you live.
Everyone flood the national news outlet, CBS, NBC and ABC, with your story and how vaping made it possible to stop smoking and how it has bettered your health, if it has.
Tvan came up with flooding the stations on a certain day, we thought National Vaping Day would be appropriate.

Today is National Vaping Day and we want to get the word out to every news organization to let you know not to be fooled by the advocates of big tobacco and big pharmacy who claim how bad e-cigs are for you. Cigarettes ARE much worse! Listen to the people using them on the streets and you will find there are A LOT more of us that have quit smoking than you think.
