Clueless but watching! :blush:

If we can get a lot of people emailing each of the big three news networks, all on one day, it is bound to get attention. There is a World and a National vaping Day coming up on Sept 19th. How appropriate that we do it on that day. Thousands of people from around the world, telling their story about how e-cigs helped them get away from the cigarette and how it has helped them health wise, if it has. That would generate some publicity, in a good way!

If we could all have the same subject line would be helpful in archiving that message. I would suggest keeping the e mails short in length and not rant.

I agree; anything over two or three paragraphs will look like word salad. Keep it short, sweet and respectful. The last thing we want to do is come across as a bunch of crazed addicts.

Oh wait........:lol::lol::lol:

Perhaps you could repost the email addresses occasionally so they don't disappear into the background. Make it easier for people to "just do it."

I have no idea. This is really in it's infancy stage. I'm trying to get some direction from CASAA or anyone really.

I have posted in the VA Vapors section here and on FB Richmond Area Vapers trying to see if there is any local interest. If we come up with anything, I will update this thread.

It really would be a simple thing to do. Create a word document, keep it short to just a couple of paragraphs, no rants. Easy to just copy and paste into an email. Have a united subject line something along the line of My Journey Getting Away From Big Tobacco (Kudos to Tvan for coming up with this one!) or something along that line (redundant).

I'm picturing emails trickling into these news organizations all day long on ONE single day. As their mailboxes fill with letters of people that have managed to stop or even severly cut down their cigarette habit. The news agencies that have consistantly said that this is not proven to help a person to stop smoking. How can they deny our statements? All it takes is one to actually report on this phenomenon, and the others will have to acknowledge that this happened to them too.

All hours of the day, for just that one day. I think would be very effective.
