I'd be more comfortable with snail mail, to be honest. Bags & bags of snail mail is bound to draw attention.
Emails does sound a bit imposing. What if we smother an important email? It might even be an email that is fighting for us, filled with inside info from a political persons agenda roster or something.
The news knows were out here, and sometimes, hitting YouTube is a good way to draw the attention of the news. We are vapers vids... We have quit smoking...

Don't get me wrong, I like the passion, and the gathering of souls, but, like was mentioned with others, I, too, have a strong hesitancy gut feeling about this.
Sorry, but its how I feel ATM.

The e mail would be going to the big three headquarters. They get info/leads from the associated press is what I've always thought. I truly don't believe we would interfer with anything. We aren't looking to cause harm.

I plan to send my little story, in a variety of formats, to news outlets and cable news and entertainment channels... this week. Why this week?

Because I found out this morning that my daughter is scheduled to give birth to her first child, a girl, at 2PM, September 19th. Her name will be London Grey because she was conceived in London on a typical foggy, grey evening. Happy birthday London... you will be born on World vaping Day!!! There's something poetic there. vaping is, after all... fog. ;-)

As you can imagine, I will have other things to do on that day, but will continue the proselytizing of vaping in my usual fashion.

I think it's important that, besides a celebration that vaping exists and so many of us have been able to quit smoking - and develop a terrific educational, social and safe hobby/pastime - that we share our experience with non-vapors in the most positive light we can provide.

We need to be mindful that non-vapors are easily mislead by unfounded and unsupported, sensationalistic news reports. It's our job, our calling, our mission to turn non-vapors into pro-vapors... before they are lead into the anti-vapor camp by the ignorant mouthpieces of those with a negative agenda. Share your experience with those who are interested and be respectful of those who are not... there is courage in kindness, consideration and truth.

Vaping is one of the safest, and most valuable tools for cessation of the cigarette smoking habit that has ever been developed... and I personally wish to thank any and all of those that have moved it forward into a positive light, and getting me off off nearly 45 years of smoking... once and forever.

Best to all... health and happiness.

It wasn't my intention to put a damper on this effort; by all means, please proceed as planned.

I never watch the local news really anymore.

"John smith's contractor took his money without doing the work, channel 9 is on your side!"

and this effects my life how?

I especially like how the local news (whoever they are in bed with, NBC CBS ABC etc) sponsor local "townhalls" to guage the pulse of the community. So phoney. The local news was only good for weather back in the day when we had to watch for our school closings, begging for a blizzard or some natural disaster because I didn't study enough for my Algebra test. I've said to much.

As stated earlier I'm in! We could also direct them to some of the celebrations that will be going on if you know of any in your area. Maybe if they get enough emails they might even do a short interview with some of the people in attendance. Worse case scenario nothing happens & we sent a bunch of emails but if we do nothing then we get nothing right...so nothing to lose but a couple of taps on your keyboard. As long as we keep it positive I don't see what harm can come from it. Nothing ventured...nothing gained! I'm in!

I'm totally inviting this woman to my next poker game, folks!

ETA: We don't play for money, just cartos 'n juice. Tis one time I went all-in with an Ikenvape, it was beautiful. You had to be there, folks.
RHP

Yes you totally did ;)
You just might lose all of your juice...and don't bring the rejects from your juice box...we'd be playing for your top shelf or favs. I'm sure you've got quite a few over there.
