These emails can also have a bad side. A thought that just crossed mine and my girlfriends mind. These lawmakers and different media companies that we are trying to get the attention of can also step back a take a look at this like, wow theres a LOT of people that use these, lets put a bigger tax on all these stuff to get more money becuase obviously a crapload of people use them and buy this stuff. I know this might sound confusing and it makes sense in my head but im having a hard time putting my thoughts to words lol. If that makes any sense. Obviously media cant put taxes on things, but the people that can and do have this power will see this if it does get the medias attention. And we all know that some of these big media companies are in governments pocket.

My email:

FORM LETTER STUFF

It has been 634 days since I last had a cigarette. That comes to 12,680 cigarettes that I have NOT smoked and over $3,400.00 that I have NOT spent on tobacco cigarettes.

FORM LETTER STUFF

I started smoking at age 15 and though I continued to do so for 21 years, It was not for lack of trying. I tried the gum, the patch, lozenges even hypnosis. I tried cold turkey... I was hopelessly addicted to smoking.

My clothes stank, my car stank and I lacked the energy or stamina to play with my kids(now age 12 & 13).

That all changed on Christmas day, 2011 when I got an eCig starter kit as a gift from my wife and kids.

I have not smoked a tobacco cigarette since.

My clothes and car don't stink, I can smell and taste food, and best of all I can enjoy spending time being active with my kids. We even went hiking in Oregon over Labor Day!

eCigs changed my life. Better yet, they gave my kids their father back.

I urge you to cover the true story of eCigarettes. To report on the revolutionary Public Health breakthrough they represent. To ring the bell that signals a clear path to the end of Tobacco use and tobacco related death.

I implore you to see the anti-ecig propaganda for what it is:

Big Tobacco's fear of it's first real competition.

Big Pharma's fear of a product that actually works.

Big Government's fear of lost tax revenue from enslaved smokers.

Thank you for taking the time to read my email.

Sincerely,

Since there are at least 4 time zones in the US, I think the emails will be showing up at different times.

If I have to pay some taxes on my Vaping stuff to ensure I get to keep vaping, I am ok with that.

Heck about half the price of a pack of cigarettes were a tax. I paid that, every day.

There are approximately 600 ingredients in cigarettes. When burned, they create more than 4,000 chemicals. At least 50 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, and many are poisonous. The electronic cigarette, on the other hand, has 4 ingredients: propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin, food grade flavoring (optional) and nicotine (optional)...all FDA approved ingredients, and none of which have been proven to cause cancer.

It has been 9 weeks, 5 days, 1 hour and 32 mins since I last had a cigarette. That comes to 1,634 cigarettes that I have NOT smoked and over $261.37 that I have NOT spent on tobacco cigarettes.

I owe that to electronic cigarettes.

I want to get the word out to every news organization and ask that you not be mislead by the advocates of big tobacco and big pharmacy who claim that e-cigarettes are bad for you:

CIGARETTES ARE MUCH MORE HARMFUL!

The patches, gum and drugs have a dismal failure rate. Listen to the “man on the street” and you will find there are more of us that have quit smoking tobacco by using e-cigarettes than you think; we number in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. And that number grows every day.
I've been a smoker of regular cigarettes (aka analogs lol) for too many years. I just got in to vaping and LOVE it! I love the flavors!! I was a 1.5 pack a day menthol smoker, even going so far as to buy mini-cigars (Cheyenne's Extreme Menthol) to get more flavor. I bought Menthol e-juice to try and its a good all day smoke. Carmel Macchiato? Love it and my house smells like I have coffee brewing or just went to Starb**ks!! No more stinky smokes for me, and I cleaned my favorite ashtray for the last time! Well first I bought a disposable 'cheapie' so I could sneak a hit of nicotine in the airports because being a 1.5 pack a day smoker who traveled a lot, it was killing me. Then I tried a 21st Century brand rechargeable in Menthol which was better and I liked the pre-filled cartridges but I could not find the flavor carts anywhere around me. I stepped my vaping game up to a blu brand e-cig starter pack. It was not for me, I like stronger flavors and the vapor was lame. I went in to Secondhand Corners and they showed me a Joytech eGo C Twist adjustable battery (also known as a 'fatbat'), a Clearomizer in purple (my favorite color) and let me try their set up with caramel macchiato e-juice. I bought the whole set up and two other juices, menthol and watermelon. I have been loving it ever since and today I have had NO regular cigarettes at ALL!!

Thank you for taking the time to read my email.

Sincerely,

Heather A. Reed

My edit of the form letter.....

I was a 2 packs a day smoker for 25 years. It has been 49 days since I last smoked a cigarette. That is approximately 1,200 cigarettes that I have NOT smoked, and over $350 that I have NOT spent on tobacco cigarettes.

I owe that to Personal Vaporizers (electronic cigarettes).

Because I was able to switch from smoking to personal vaporizers, I now breathe easier and have more energy. I no longer cough. I do not stink of tobacco. I no longer pollute the air around me. I no longer burn holes in my clothing. I feel healthier. I can exercise easier.

I tried the nicotine gum, the nicotine patches, the drugs, to no avail. Only the personal vaporizer is working.

I am not the only one with this experience. Ask the “man on the street” and you will find there are more of us that have quit smoking tobacco by using e-cigarettes than you think. We number in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. And that number grows every day.

I want to get the word out to every news organization. I ask that you not be misled by the vocal, counterfactual (lying), advocates for the industries and organizations whose profession is tobacco and e-cigarette prohibition. Those organizations include big tobacco, big pharmaceutical, big healthcare, and our government, which is heavily invested in those entities. They cite old, disproved, poorly enacted studies to back up their claims.

They claim that e-cigarettes might be harmful. Might. They ignore the recent studies that show e-cigarettes and personal vaporizers to be many magnitudes safer than tobacco cigarettes.

There are approximately 600 ingredients in cigarettes. When burned, they create more than 4,000 chemicals. At least 50 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, and many are toxic.

The electronic cigarette, on the other hand, has up to only 4 ingredients, all FDA approved ingredients, none of which is toxic and and none of which has been proven to cause cancer: propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin (found in many FDA approved foods), food grade flavoring (optional) and nicotine (optional).

The voices you will hear today, on World Vaping Day, are those of us who who have switched from smoking tobacco to using the much safer e-cigarette. There are more of us than you may think; in this country alone, we number in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Worldwide, we number in the millions, if not tens of millions. And that number grows every day. Each and every one of us is prolonging life and improving health.

And we do this by harming no one. We are no health danger to anyone. We are simply trying to break free from one of the most addictive substances on Earth.

Here are some links to recent studies and articles showing the differences between tobacco and e-cigarettes. Please take the few minutes it will take to read these reports and become more knowledgeable about personal vaporizers.
