I don't know how I'd compare it. It certainly "seems" like I vape more than I smoked, but since I'm only taking one or 2 puffs at a time instead of 20 within a 5 minute timespan, I'm really not sure how it compares to the 1-2 cigs an hour that I smoked. What I can say is that my lungs feel better, my heart rate and blood pressure have dropped, and I haven't gained any weight, so even if I'm vaping five times as much as I smoked, I can live with that. It's also worth noting that I can go several hours without vaping, and still not have that "gotta have one" craving that I had with cigarettes.
So the answer is: No matter how much you vape, you're still better off than you were when you were inhaling flaming tobacco.
