► Wotofo Profile Squonk mod; Review:
Sourcemore (thank's) has kindly sent me the latest product resulting from the collaboration between Wotofo and MrJustright1. Profile Squonk mod has a rather unique feature in that it can be used either as a single 18650 battery squonk mod with a maximum output of 80W, or as a dual 18650 battery Box Mod with a maximum output of up to 200W.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Packaging:
Anteriorly they are present; the name of the device in large letters (Profile), the name of MrJustright1 who collaborated in the creation of this device and the brand (Wotofo). The transparent plexy allows you to partially see the kit inside. On the back of the box we find the writing "Profile", the warnings, the place of production, the manufacturer's email address, the trademarks and logos required by law.

On the remaining sides of the package we find; the device name (Profile), the name of MrJustright1, the packing list, the color of the sample (Black), a barcode and the scratch & check.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; First impressions:
Personally, I like Wotofo's idea of producing a dual-use device. Profile Mod in the Single Battery configuration is basically a Squonk device with compact dimensions with an empty weight of 135g.
The same cannot be said of the configuration with dual 18650; the Mod keeps the same size in width, while in height there are several Chinese dual 18650 Mods on the market that are shorter. However this is to be understood, because the Bottom Feeder system requires pipes that inevitably raise the structure upwards.
Given these premises, the device seems to be built in a solid way, it uses zinc alloy for the frame, transparent plastic for the compartment / battery door. The door is well anchored to the body of the Mod by two powerful magnets, but it is slightly noisy in your hands when you press it.

When I first turned on the Mod, it was configured in Single battery mode for the Squonk, so on the display there was only one charge indicator (a battery) and the maximum selectable power was 80W. Of course, by removing the squonk bottle and inserting the second 18650 cell, the second charge indicator also lit up and the selectable power went up to 200W.

The main controls and the color display are all positioned on one side and are inside a screen (black in my case), the buttons are made of plastic, free of anomalous movements. The screen is bright enough and the information displayed is all clearly legible.

On the opposite side, the plastic cover is transparent, with the words "Profle" and "Wotofo" in large letters, at the bottom and on the side there is an opening wide enough to allow you to press the bottle to make the eliquid rise upwards and towards the RDA tank that we will choose to use.

Some might argue that a closed cover was not included in the package to install when you intend to use the Mod in the 2x18650 version, in fact even the second additional cell (such as the squonk bottle) remains partially uncovered.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Ergonomic handle:
The rectangular form factor of the Mod is rounded at the sides towards the hips, at the sides towards the top, and at the sides towards the bottom, in a rational and balanced way making the handle ergonomic.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Top & Bottom:
On the top there is a large steel center plate which is attached to the mod via 4 French screws. The 510 thread contains the hollow pin for the squonk which is plated / gold and spring loaded. The plate offers a lot of space for the tanks; up to about 30mm in diameter without protrusions. However smaller tanks like 22mm ones might start to look a bit out of place in the overall look of the Kit. Better a tank with at least 24-25mm in diameter.

The USB-C charging port is located at the bottom of the Mod, in the center there are an infinite series of writings and a screw. Indicated by the arrow (image below) you can see the appropriate slot to lift the compartment / battery cover.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Double use:
As you can see in the image below, the compartment / battery cover has two large magnets, one at the top with a round shape and one at the bottom with a rectangular shape. A lace is present for the extraction of the cell, (cells) or the bottle of Squonk, depending on the setting you want to obtain. Too bad that when using the mod in squonk mode to replace the cell, the bottle must also be extracted. I would have preferred the presence of two laces, it would have been much more convenient to perform these operations.

At the top marked with an arrow you can see the pin with negative polarity, the pin is drilled for the passage of the liquid when installing the squonk bottle.
This is fine, until you decide you want to put the mod in dual battery mode and the residual liquid (if not removed ) will come into contact with the battery, which I find rather annoying.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Bottle Squonk:
The bottle is equipped with a sealing o-ring and fits perfectly into the perforated pin and even after intense use in squonk mode I have not noticed any loss of e-liquid.

The e-liquid capacity is 7ml and for filling it is of course necessary to extract the container and unscrew the top cap. The consistency of the silicone bottle is optimal, so when pressed it always returns to its original position even in the absence of liquid.

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Chipset and Protections:
The neXCHIP confirms itself as reactive and snappy (0.001s), it recognizes the presence of 1 cell or 2 cells during USB charging, setting the number of charge indicators accordingly. The only vape mode available is the VW one.

• Power on / off: Press the Fire button 5 times
• Mod Lock / Unlock: Press the Fire button 3 times
• Power lock / unlock: Press the "+" and "-" buttons together
• Change Colors: Press the Fire and "+" buttons together to switch to any of the 6 theme colors: red, yellow, blue, white, purple and green.
• Puff reset: Press the Fire and "-" buttons together

► Wotofo Profile Squonk Mod; Final conclusions:
The "Dual Use" device is definitely a smart idea! Profile Squonk Mod works well in both "single & dual battery" modes (Squonk Mod & Classic Mod). The chipset with the DC-DC converter with an output voltage higher than the input allows the Step-Up with semi-discharged battery, this is quite important to handle the high resistances for MTL well, especially when using the Mod with a single 18650 cell. The finishes are good, the battery cover closes well, but has some creaking. The price of this 2 in 1 Mod proposed by Sourcemore is less than 30 euros, therefore quite inviting.

Good review Frenkyou. I think they had some good ideas but don’t like the idea of having to remove the bottle to change batteries.

To remove only the battery and not the bottle you can position the strap like this. But to remove the bottle you need the strap.
