Hello! I'm new here and if there's already a thread about this, I apologize for posting another one. Searched but didn't find what I was looking for.

I bought the Wotofo Serpent a few months back, and I have tried lots of different builds, tried everything, but I still get these awful dry hits. What am I doing wrong? Haha!

And the leaking from time to time? What's up with that? I close the juice control, fill it up with juice, closing the top (not all the way) and then turn it upside-down and opens the juice control again, and then fully closing the top, snd still it will leak some times.

There are a number of threads on the Serpent here on ECF, what specific model do you have?
Dry hits and/or leaking is almost always down to poor wicking.

In an RTA the wicking has to be spot on for that device and the PG/VG ratio of the juice you are using.
If the wicks are too long or too densely packed then there's a possibility it will not wick fast enough to keep up with the power and airflow you have selected.
If the wicks are too short or not packed densely enough, then the juice holes may not be sufficiently blocked and/or may not be able to prevent the juice sitting above them from falling out the bottom of the tank.

Personally I have never found the need for inverting RTAs when filling, if the wicking is right then none of that prayer and chicken whirling business is required. Just make sure the top cap is off for the shortest time possible.

Thanks man. Gonna start build right now with all the tip I've got I mind. Wish me luck.
