Going back to the original topic and an update after a day of use, the Serpent Mini holds maybe just over 2mls as compared to the 3mls that is advertised. 2 droppers full from a 30ml bottle and it's pretty much full. It goes through juice at a much higher rate than the original Serpent RTA. You can literally watch the level of juice drop per hit. Granted my build is a bit low in resistance (0.39), but only 0.10 lower than what I have in the original and the original only goes through an average of 8mls (10mls if fairly frequently vaping) per day. I've put 3 tanks or 6+mls through the Mini already just from a couple hours of total vaping. Flavor is still quite nice, but I do find myself missing the perfectly smooth draw that the original provides. Still zero leaks and not even a sign of any seepage from fillling or sitting.
Okay thanks. I fell and got hurt

Thankyou much. I have to say, I do enjoy the members in this forum. Very kind and considerate at all times I have been here. Very bright young guys with good input for beginner's like myself. I really do enjoy sharing with what little I have, to date. My past experiences was with mechanical assembly and some machine shop so I do enjoy looking at the atomizer(and some on the devices that power it).
Anyways today I'm taped up and moving around a little more. Best to move some rather than lay there I'm thinking. Recieved an eleaf Pico the other day. Impressed with the ramp up it gives for pre-made kanthal coils. Really nice to be able to hit it instantly at your chosen power. Pretty cool when there's no prime vapes involved(or clicking power first).

I I should correct this. The device fires a pulse to preheat the coil and then backs off to the set power. It's the coil that ramps up from the device. Not the device ramping up., I'm thinking.. Sound right?

I'm grateful that the majority of the community welcomes all walks of life. As long as we're staying away from tobacco products, we're all part of the same solution. There are those who tend to judge and critique, but we can't all be perfect haha. The coil/atomizer would normally need the ramp up time. The new Sigelei 213 that just came out has new technology that accounts for a coil at room temp. I need to do more research on it, but I believe it offsets the ramp up time a coil needs to be at full wattage/temp. I'm not sure the Pico pulse-fires, but most coils do have a ramp up time after sitting. Juice flow through the cotton itself also needs the heat to complete its circulation from channels/ports to the coil. Ever noticed vapor production always takes a few puffs before it reaches max potential after sitting overnight?

That's kinda Funny you would Mention that. Because I saw the Same thing.

The Glass that came on the Tank was Small. Hard to get Off. Cracked when I put it back on. The Replacement Glass was kinda Loosey-Goosey. And Almost to Big.

Ya mine was way to big wouldn't sit between the metal lip so now it's unusable. I sent wotofo a message last night see what they have to say. I've got a feeling I'll have to wait till FT comes out with replacement glass.

Interesting. I just recieved my 2 tonight. Noticied the glass was tight and it took some light pressing back and forth to get it off(for both new ones). I will check with the calipers here and get back. Just finished washing and now drying . I do remember something said about this on utube. I believe it was Richard Ng

Yeah... Mine Wasn't terribly hard to get off. It Didn't just pop off. But it wasn't the worst I have seen.

It was when I went to put it back on. I was Very Surprised how little Pressure it took to Crack it. I wasn't really even pushing on it. More just lining it up to get Ready to Push On It when it Cracked.

And the Spare just Slipped on.

You should never hand press a seal if possible. I watched 2 other utube reviewers hand press the seal to glass. This is wrong. Use the chimney and thread it to complete the seal. Just put glass on top of base with the base seal already in the channel. Take the fill ring with seal already in channel and slowly evenly twist your fill ring catching the threads of the base. The top fill ring seal is smaller than the base seal(be aware). Take your time and don't cross thread or be too forceful. It will catch as I had no problem last night. Just my past experience with assembly(mechanical). I worked with sealing parts before so this works. A co-centric even pressure way of sealing. Hope this helps.

Vaped the s.mini this morning for first time. I am split about this single coil atty as issues with the clamping of wire and the machining difference of stainless. First negs..The stainless in which the glass fits should be equal in size within a set tolerance. The glass looks in tolerance from top to bottom, so the seals should be same on both ends(to fit evenly machined base to filler ring). The post's being clamp type make it undesirable for a single wire coil build(i suggest twisted of some sort).
My pro's.. Great flavor! This atty does give you excellent flavor and I was impressed right off the bat. Fairly good vapor production(using their comp. coils) and was not disappointed. Air flow was very good with plenty of adjustment for straight lung to mouth lung inhale. This is not a monster air flow tank so don't expect that. But if you like a restricted air flow with room to open up, its there. Size is awesome and sits nice on all my smaller devices(looks stealthy). No leaking as of yet, and excellent size slots to fill with a dropper. I paid $20 ea. from 3 Fvape, so price is a big plus for someone who is like me, and wants flavor at the forefront. I give the s.mini a thumbs up but, and a big but, it could and should be a better designed atty. For the price it's worth it.

Yeah... Using the Base Threads to Apply even Pressure is a Good Call.

I just wish you could have seen How Little it took to Crack the Glass. I think it would have Surprised You.

Oh I know. I could tell the glass was not much on quality. It's far from some other glass on Rta's. Richard Ng and vaping biker on utube did the same. Be careful and have the part do the work on sealing. That's my best advice for this one. The machining on both ends of stainless could've been better. Take care, buddy.

I'm not a Glass Expert. But I believe that if Newly Formed Hot Glass cools quickly, that is will be Brittle. And that many times Glass is cooled in an Annealing Oven to cool it slowly.

Maybe that is the Case here? Or Maybe the Make Up of the Glass is more Brittle than Most?

I dunno? All I know is that I have taken the Glass of Many (Many) Tanks. And this one took me by surprise.

But what the Hey. Live and Learn. And I'm Happy with my Serpent Mini. So all is Good.
