1. When I said I knew virtually everything there was to vaping, I meant that I know everything there is to know about non-rebuildable vaping. I would argue that point until the day I die. Since I joined, there have been people attacking me accusing me of not knowing the top of my battery from the bottom, and have been extremely rude with it, and hey, that's that. Those folks are the ones that need to get over themselves and realize that not every person who just joined up is a complete newbie. Trust me, when I call up random vendors for advice and the dishonest ones want to say, "Well, I'm sorry, sounds to me like you don't know what you're doing." I give them a few decent words on my mind. I don't tolerate that type of disrespect when I either tell people my experiences or ask for advice.
2. I've never been a taste purist. I've never claimed to be. What I have claimed is that I have the sense to know if my vape tastes like a burning tire. I think I said, once, about the Cisco, that it literally seemed as though the rum juice I was vaping was dancing on my tongue because it was just so good. It was. It was above standard, it was excellent. If folks here have such numbed tongues from smoking or just for some bizarre reason enjoy nasty vapes, I can't help that I look like I have a refined tongue in comparison.
3. Saying that I'd like to be the guy in my town who impresses my buddies by introducing them to vaping and helping with their smoking problems has nothing to do with ECF, there's like two members here across the span of 10 years that are even in my town, I've searched it. I don't care anything about bringing people here, if I cared about online mess, I'd start my own forum. I mean really, does it look like I'm trying to win a popularity contest on ECF? If I was, trust me, I'd just go on and on about how great a Protank is, and slide some real questions inbetween the garble, trying to actually find out useful information without letting anyone know I'm sitting here with horrid devices.
4. Nope, I've never once been rude to anyone who wasn't rude toward me first. I always encourage people to give me links to direct threads or posts and they never do so, because they go back and read and realize that I was always peachy as pie until someone said "You're just an idiot who's doing something wrong, because all vaping devices are perfect." There's always some sort of name calling, some sort of ignorant assumtion, some sort of being so uneducated that the person could even read the details and techniques I had already typed out. I don't correlate well with that behavior.
This is where people first started attacking me, page 4, very first thread I ever made:

I will give $100 to anyone who can find a rude post of mine before page #4 on that thread.
"Bad News: I'll stick with Busardo, Todd, Nick and those fellas for reviews. "
- You, first thing you ever said to me, if I'm not mistaken.
My reply (to you and others, on that thread):
"And for the record about juices, the honest truth is that I've sampled many things, gotten some things to work in certain tanks, yet from at least store samples, on properly working devices, I've never tasted one juice that, in it's intended working state, that I did not like. I'm not a picky guy. I sample every single juice on a vendor's hardware before I buy (the one exception being my new VCV juice, which smells great - haven't tried it yet). I don't have a single juice in my stock that I didn't try and get a great taste out of in the store or in a friend's set-up. Like I said, I'm a flavor connoisseur, I can judge a juice without disliking it for personal preferences."

I just love being the smartest, and the most correct, person in the room, even when I try my absolute best not to be. But trust me, I've been moderating and running forums for years, it'll be a fun day in the sun when someone believes they can twist my memory when it comes to posts.
This post specifically, by nnote, was one of the first truly outright rude posts I received on this forum, and my attitude started degrading after that, by slight increments:
"No device will fix bum juice...
Total lack of vape knowledge won't make for good reviews either"
No, you know what's the only thing that makes good reviews? C'mon ECF, say it with me: Vendor Shop Employees!..... *sarcasm*
