Would this be a worthy upgrade?

I had a mvp2 and got a dna30 I love it! But I use rdas and make my own coils. The dna 30 is a nice upgrade because it vapes up to 30 watts and will sub ohm down to .3 which is nice for people who like to go sub ohm fairly safely. It's definitely a worthy upgrade in my opinion. But if your not using a rda, certain tanks like kanger, evod, anything with a female can't be used. But they are not the type of tank you would vape at 30 watts anyway. Mine performs wonderfully and it's really a great little mod. You won't regret upgrading.

A DNA30/ iPV is meant for higher wattage, 30-50watts. RBA/RDA's are geared for higher wattage. If you plan to use kanger/aspire tanks, the highest wattage they can handle is about 11 watts before they start to taste burnt. You current MVP goes up to 13 watts. Having a higher wattage setup with a non-RBA is like driving an automatic ferrari. I personally would recommend getting a kayfun clone, some 28ga kanthal and cotton. Learn to rebuild. Use it on your MVP. Hits like a freakin champ

I was chomping at the bit to get a DNA30 just before they came out. Someone on here asked if I was limited by my current mod. Thought about that and the truth was I was usually running at 9 watts or so. Got to thinking that maybe I was getting caught up in the hype and really didn't need a DNA. Just so happened that my mod I was using bit the dust about 2 days before the DNA's were supposed to be delivered to the B&M so I ran up and got an MVP to hold me over. Haven't really thought much about a DNA since. I run a KFL+ on my MVP at about 9 watts and it works fine for me. So.....I guess I'd say I got good advice. No need to upgrade to a higher wattage unless you're maxing out your current mod regardless of the type of tank your using.
