Wow 555

Has the Wow 555 recipe changed? I'm asking because it used to come with quite a yellow tint to it and now when I order it arrives clear. V4L was nice enough to send me replacent bottles but these arrived clear as well. The taste isn't as nutty as it was when it used to be yellow in color.

Gosh Blackwater, it's true that they can be different from one batch to another. I'm not a 555 fan, so can't comment on that specifically, but I do notice my Nuport can vary a lot. Others here have noticed that their fave flavours vary from batch to batch.

Just received a fresh batch of Wow 555 today. It definitely has a yellowish tint to it.
What strength was the 555 you received? The tint varies by level of nicotine. 0mg can be clear with the higher strengths getting progressively darker.
This is also affected by exposure to light. It can get darker with time.

Wader is correct. Morandir did some light testing a while back and the juice can change color when exposed to light. Also, you might try steeping it for a few days to draw out some of the flavor. I had a juice come recently and the "born on date" was quite a bit newer than I had experienced previously. I'm wondering if V4L has streamlined the process of getting juice in. Maybe that's why people are commenting about flavor differences - because the juices aren't as aged as they used to be by the time we get them.

This was from a year ago.....Wow 555, new batch vs batch from 6 months earlier. They both vaped the same. These were both 18 mg

Thanks. Here's my pick of 7 of 10 bottles from the same order i made a few months ago. All bottles are 4mg and born on the same date a year ago. As you can see there is a dramatic difference in color and unfortunately taste. All bottles were put in a drawer in a cool room when they arrived.

That sucks Chris...Wow 555 like any blended juice (RY4, Wowboy, etc) can have instantly detectable differences in taste for fans of the flavor...sorry to hear it. There have been times that I have actually requested juices with certain batch dates due to the differences, I know several other folks that do the same.

Thats very cool! Thanks! I didn't know they could do that. Weird that mine came from the same batch. Or maybe on that date they ran out of one bottle and started a new bottle? That seems like it must be it if the color and taste is that different. Anyway, I'll add flavor to the lighter bottles. Was just curious if anyone else had noticed such a drastic difference. For a year the 555 was showing up tan like the bottles on the right and now they all show up clear like on the left.
