WOW, had a bad experience with madvapes!

I usually get all my mods, cartomizers, some liquid, and a few switches, etc... from them. I've ordered plenty of times in the past, but these last few "orders are just no good."

First, I ordered the telescoping mod, and I received it on time, but the firing button on the bottom came broken off. It worked if I pushed it in, but didnt' want a broken mod. So I return that for another one, and pay shipping out of pocket for that. A week later, I have a new telescoping mod, and it's working great. Whoops, spoke too soon. About an hour of use it just stopped working. I took it apart and cleaned everything. The design seems simple, but somewhere something was out of place and I couldn't figure it out.

Now this is the second time I'm returning another pv. They actually give me the 2 dollars or so, that it cost to ship and took it off . I get a bunch of points to spend on my account since I asked for store credit, and see they have a new vision variable volt mod, so cool, I've been wanting something like that, but they were always too expensive. I got one of those, and I had to put in about 15 extra bucks to cover the cost from not enough points.

Yay, I'm excited. Meanwhile I'm smoking analogs after 6 months of quitting :oops: ... and can't wait to get my mod. Yay, it's here. I already have 2 fresh batteries to go, nice and charged up, new atties, and a few cartomizers. Load up a battery, screw in my atty, check my battery voltage: 4.2 .... check my atty ohms 1.5..... pretty good. I adjust to 3.7v and hit the button........... NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
The screen switches from saying low voltage, and low ohms but an ohm sign. UGhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........

I look around and it seems like I have a bad board..... 3, yes THREE crappy NO QC MODS SHIPPED TO ME. I will not be ordering anything besides juice from these guys again. Atties and cartos are hit and miss all the time too, I'd rather spend extra money at avidvaper or something and vape something nice like ciscos.

Sorry MV, I've tried and tried. You guys have great prices and everything, but you're the Fry's Electronics of vaping. Where everything you sell is junk or either returns, and anything decent is too expensive.

HUGE THUMBS DOWN from a long time customer, but no more.

I hope they refund my money back to my card and don't give me store credit or exchange... I've already bought another PV, it's been more than a month since ordering the first telescoping mod, I mean, come on!!! They don't care about the customer at all, I'm smoking again, but they don't care. They'll keep sending me broken Vaporizers. THanks guys thanks.

And the ticket system first took 2 weeks, second time 1-2 days, this time I sent it yesterday, and havn't heard anything yet.

Sorry that you have had a bad experience. I have ordered from them a few times with zero issues. But you cannot really blame the vender for a faulty device. The telescope mod is cheap by all means to begin with, so I am not surprised. And I have heard a lot of people complaining about quality control of most products that come from china. And I've experienced bad boge cartos first hand myself. The vender, unless selling mods they custom make themselves, are basically a middle man. A means to get product faster than ordering from china. Unless you expect them to test every product they sell, you are likely to have the same experience at some point anywhere.

Not trying to sound like a fan boy, because I do most of my shopping at other places, but I just thought you were being a little harsh on the vender. And blaming them for smoking cigarettes is a low blow. Anyone vaping for 6 months or longer should have back up mods of some kind to use in case of disaster lol. Like your case for example. And I can completely understand your frustration. My first venture in to vaping went like this.

I bought a pretty expensive starter kit from after seeing an online add. They were called gold something or other. It was one of the auto battery kits that look like a real cigarette. I knew it was coming in and didn't buy another pack of smokes. 30 minutes after the kit showed up, I was at the store buying a new pack lol. The kits showed up, I charged the battery until the light was green and then watched a little how to video on YouTube to make sure I was setting everything up right. Took a puff and it stated like burnt plastic. Took the carto off and dripped a few drops directly on the atomizer and burnt taste again. Then it wouldn't work at all.

Long story short I found this forum and bought a kit from one of the venders here. A riva 510 kits black and gold. Over a year later and those same two batteries work like a champ still. I keep them as spare back ups just in case my backs fail lol. Now I am using bigger mods with more power. And along the way have bought things that I was less then happy with. But not once have I pointed the finger at the vender. I currently have a Vivi nova tank I am really displeased with. No matter what I do I get a burnt taste even after trying every atomizer that came with it at every recommended setting. But after reading around, I've noticed others have had the same problem with news from different venders. Grim Green did a review of one that shorted out and killed two batteries on a silver bullet. Point being, it is more then likely just really bad luck. Maybe they just got a bad batch this last time. You cannot blame a company for something like that especially if they worked it out with you and didn't leave you high and dry. The company I ordered my first kit from wrote me off and did nothing at all. Now they have missed out on my dollars in their pockets lol.

But in the end you are free to do with your money as you please. Just would rather someone leave by saying hey, it's been nice, but our time together is done just because I don't feel like taking a risk of my order not working out. Rather then going out with the finger of guilt pointed at people who go out of their way to try and provide a high level of support to a massive amount of people with limited staff.

But anyways, I really hope it works out for you either way, and hope you stay off the smokes. I know what it is like to be free of them and return back, a horrible feeling indeed.

Well I've been gone for 2 years but have decided to get rid of the analogs for good and go back to vaping. I always ordered from Madvapes and was always satisfied with their service. Like I say it's been 2 years and I just ordered a Bolt with extension, some batteries and charger, juice etc. Hopefully their products and service are as good as they used to be. It's very hard to believe 3 bad in a row, I would think after the second failure they would have been sure to check out the last one they sent you. Like I said I've been gone for 2 years now maybe things have changed but I certainly hope not. Truly sorry for your bad luck with Madvapes.

I think Madvapes is as good as many others vendors. They have grown a lot in the past 2 years, but I think you will find them to still be dependable.

I can't imagine why you'd buy their juice, it's the same old stuff from a few years ago that you can get anywhere.

Just place small orders for stuff you can't get elsewhere and cross your fingers.

Their juice is not a "buy again" for me. I started with their juice nearly a year ago, and I tried some recently to see how far I have come. Wow! That isn't happening again.

However, along with hard to get mod parts, they also have a decent selection of clearomizers and the like. I just do not care for Smok products, they seem very cheap.

So you quit smoking for 6 months & now you went back to smoking? Regardless if your angry with MV for some products not up to snuff, which they are basically resellers & don't build the mods themselves, your total lack of willpower isn't there fault. There were 100s of options other than smoking. Your the only 1 to blame for that.

You didn't buy your keyboard from them, did you?

I think its time for a new vender, give discountvapers a try I"ve ordered 7 times form them and every thing has been spot on, the guy that runs it its a vapor also ,and trys many for the items out be for selling them ,and gives a short review on them, prices are good also...

I'm sorry, but posts like these belong in a PM. It's rude to advertise for a competitor in a vendor's forum. If you want to give an alternative to this vendor, you should PM that person directly and give them the information privately.

Try going to the bottom of the MV home page, select cutomer service/ticket system and submit a new ticket.

Anyone know how the hell to use your customer loyalty points? I want to buy the damn cheesecake eliquid and I have all these points and can never figure out how to use them.

And I've bought some stuff from madvapes that didn't fit right/work with my system. but it was cheap! so I'm not complaining.
If I'd spent a lot of money I would be mad but if I was spending a lot of money I'd make sure I was buying the RIGHT cartridges/atomizers/etc
