Being pretty new to this, and so far just trying different atty's & coil strengths, I've been pretty satisfied. However, I got some organic cotton the other day, and took a shot at changing some used Kanger coils to cotton wicks today. What a difference! Stronger flavor, and waaaay more vapor. I totally screwed up an Aspire BDC, but I can try again another day, or may have to wait to change them to single coils when I get to that stage of my learning experience.

Honestly, I can't tell any flavor difference between silica and cotton myself. But cotton can be had anywhere and it's damn near "free". It also seems to "fluff up" and swell more thereby keeping my tanks plugged around the coil so they don't flood. Don't know for sure - just a theory.

many of you probably already know this, but for those that don't. I have found that less is more. If l use to much cotton I loose flavor. I have spent 2 days building and rebuilding my T3s's, T3ss...? Don't know how to pluralize that. Anyway, I am shocked at how little cotton is needed. I have to wait to vape this tank now, so i can see if it floods at low juice levels, damn kangers. But, Its been good thus far.
