Wow, my friends... it sure looks like we'd better stock up on our Nicotine, while we can...!!!

Those of us know the battles that are standing before us where our vaping is concerned... it's all about taxing, controlling and the BIG pharmaceuticals and the tobacco companies levying to impose their 'control' over the people. Let's get real here... in reality, IF people weren't actually putting the cigarettes down and still smoking their nasty contribution to society, there wouldn't be a problem... right...? But, in actual reality, they are seeing the looses in revenue and have NO way of controlling the spread of this "EVIL" substitute to their product.

A VERY large portion of the tax dollars that's collected is off of cigarette sales. It's also a huge part of what's driving this nation financially. (remember when Obama increased the tax on cigarettes...?)Can you imagine what this country would look like without all that tax applied to even a single pack of cigarettes...? It's HUGE...!!!

Now... bring in the Pharma. They promote (very actively, I'll add) A pill that is supposed to make one not even desire a cigarette. Honestly, my son and I sat back and watched the advertisement and counted how long it took to go through all the 'adverse side effects' that one should allow for it to be effective... are you KIDDING...?

WE, my friends are going to HAVE to stand up and make our voices heard...!!! If we don't, well... it'll be over. THIS is a true, clean and pure way to rid oneself of that nasty habit that we ALL wish we'd never started.

In some way, we need to PROVE that the nicotine in our vapes aren't like a normal cigarette, we need to PROVE that it works and we need to PROVE that it's more healthy than anything else on the market.

I live here in Anniston, Alabama... we have ONE Mayor in Weaver that agrees with us. He is on OUR side...!!! I'll quote him... "He will NEVER outlaw vaping inside until he see's proof that it's just as harmful as a cigarette..."

Let's stand behind this man... PLEASE write him and bring him up to the forefront in everything we can. THIS man is on our side...

Danny...

I am glad that you found a politician that cares about people and not just money and power. Pretty rare breed. Having you been keeping abreast of Dr. Farsalinos' study? He's testing over 100 liquids and through the IndiGoGo funding, got enough to do additional testing, perhaps on some of those things you mention. Your Mayor might want to check those out when the results are in.

Do you have a name and contact for him in case someone is in a letter writing mood?

It's all about money and greed. Our society in general would be FAR more advanced if the powers to be actually cared about advancing mankind. Free energy has been around for years. This e-cig thing is yet another example of how our government doesn't give a damn about our well being... Just about controlling us and our money. I could go on and on... but I'll leave it at that. It's BS is what it boils down to and I agree with you completely

I have 4 years of nicotine in my freezer. The only thing stopping me from getting 20 years worth is that it's supposed to lose its potency over time, even frozen. Every other ingredient necessary could never be regulated. Government is a joke. ......... is becoming legal but water vapor is being banned. Nobody will ever stop me. I will learn how to extract the nicotine from the leaves myself if necessary. Then I will blow my vapor in every opponents face as I walk by them. Sick of dealing with clueless money hungry nitwits who want to tell me how to live my life. Are we really free or not?

I'm not really trying to bash anyone about this or anything as it's my opinions . But isn't vaping supposed to help us quit cigarettes which lock us in due to nicotine. Nicotine seems to me to give vaping a bad name. Can't yall just quit using nicotine? I used to smoke for years till vaping came into light I switched over night because I liked the nice flavors. I smoked because It was anxiety relieve when life got stressful but I was never addicted. I didn't need one everyday like the three packs a day people I see around. I simply quit instantly over two nights. I didn't go through process of starting at 24 mg and go down to zero. Now I get some of you have true addictions but can't we all just quit nicotine. I personally could care less if they ban nicotine public use. But I see some of you rely on it intensely. I thought vaping was supposed to stop that, not just give you an alternative to it..... Again just my thoughts.....

Since you were never addicted and quit without effort, why are you vaping at all?
I would hate to see nicotine be banned for public use. There are millions of smokers still out there who could benefit greatly from vaping unless nicotine is totally banned. And yeah I am stockpiling my nicotine because there are too many people already who don't care if it's banned.

since nic be will the only thing that is hard to get ,, it is the only thing you really need to worry about

there are many ways to extract nic from varies sources available right now .so even that is not that big of an issue

the above does really apply to new vapers,,that don't have the knowledge and a lot are not on vapin forums either

The issue with cigarettes was never really the nicotine in them, that's just what gets the bad rap. It's the million other chemicals and their combustion that is carcinogenic and awful for you. Nicotine isn't the bad guy here really.

I didn't have a desire to quit smoking. I have quit other addictions and trying to quit nicotine as well could jeopardize everything I have worked for. I am happy to have found an alternative. Which is what CASAA stands for.. Consumer advocate for smoke free alternatives. I am very happy to have found a healthier substitute for my nicotine dependency. It is wrong of you to be so judgmental and compare your recovery from nicotine and use it as the standard for everyone else's recovery.

Almost every place I've lived taxes FOOD. I mean at the grocery store.

Which is horribly hard on those living in poverty as well as the working poor, esp. if they have growing children who eat a lot.

It never even crossed my mind that vape stuff wouldn't be taxed.

There is so much $$ to be made now in vaping, I highly doubt, (almost to a level of certainty), that vaping stuff will be banned, etc.

Paying taxes on stuff will probably adjust prices on the vendor and manufacturing side a bit too, downward, because as all businesses know, if people can't afford to buy stuff then you are out of business.

Isn't the expression there are only 2 things that are certain in this life and that is death and taxes? I guess I have no idea why anyone thought this stuff wouldn't be taxed.

I have a consignment booth in a little flea market here and I even have to pay taxes on my earnings there. If I buy from an Ebay seller in my state I pay taxes. I pay real estate taxes as well as taxes on my truck yearly (personal tax).

I do trace where my taxes are going and what they pay for, in a country with an increasingly growing population. Every time I've had to dial 911, or get alerts from NOAA about weather, or drive on the highways I am appreciative that my money is being spent on good stuff. I'm sure a lot of it gets wasted, but even if you carved it up and gave all those responsibilities to a Corporation, it would still be expensive, and probably even MORE expensive. USPS is still cheaper than any of the other options, for instance.

I've been to a few other countries and they have less government but I sure wouldn't want to live in those places. God Bless America!

Bumping a link to a great post to subscribe.

2L in the freezer with another 500ml on the way. So I know that 2.5 liters isn't too much.

That's about 6 years 4 months at my level...but I make juice for a few others...more is good.

The best way to stay quit from an addiction is to help others quit. Every day is help a n00b day :)
