Wow. Well i know why THAT was on clearance

so i got a Kylie rta from the Clarance at wet vapes. It was a top fill rta for cheap and while it was mesh, it was mesh with a spring under the coil, which is the only GOOD mesh imho. I thought “score!” I now know why it was on clearance. It may be a top fill rta but it doesnt act like one.

If you even just tip it it leaks. Bad. This thing is unusually awful. I also got an ijoy Sabre for more or less the same reason. It works well but they weren’t kidding about 20700. It wont take a 21700. First I’ve seen of that. I’ve actually got a few 20700s so it’s totally doable since i only got it for a backup, but I wasn’t expecting that. They also had a drag x pluses on clearance (which is a pretty standard 18650 mod) that is kinda awesome, but the Kylin mesh rda? No bueno. The Sabre is ok. Great if you’re buying batteries special for it,

Sounds like you got the full clearance experience there the Sabre at least has some backup value but yeah that Kylin mesh top fill is infamous for leaking issues I had a buddy who tried to fix it with all kinds of wicking tricks and it still wept juice every time it tipped over clearance deals can be fun gambles sometimes you land a hidden gem like the Drag X Plus and other times you find out why stuff ended up discounted in the first place

I eventually figured out the leaking. You need to get the cotton ALL the way down and the bit with the slot completely full. After that it was great! Then it disappeared and I can’t get another :/

Yeah that’s the thing with those clearance tanks, once you finally figure out the perfect wicking they vanish from the market. Filling the slot completely makes sense with mesh, it’s so unforgiving if there’s any gap. Shame you can’t grab a backup now, that always seems to happen with the ones that finally work right.

Works well. Found it again and put a AirTag on the bottom with VHB tape, which also works well. Am vaping it atm. You gotta make sure the cotton goes all the way to the bottom and completely fills the side chambers though. If you do that it’s good. If you don’t it’s not.

Bottom. Chinese cheapo compatible. 4 for the price of one. They’re a couple mm smaller.
