Wrapping coils and playing with tobacco and menthol flavors

I have 28Gauge wire - im looking to re-build a few coils with this wire. how may wraps should I do to make the coil between 1.8ohms and 2.2 ohms?

I have TFA 555 tabacco flavor and loranns menthol flavor - I want to make an enjoyable menthol flavor to vape on - I have had a lot of issues with making menthol so far so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to making a decent menthol flavor out of these 2 flavorings

Well, I can sort of help with the coil... you need to figure out what diameter your coil is going to be and then you can get a number for the ohms of the coil. There is a calculator that helps you figure this out. Take a gander in the Rebuildable section specifically the subforum for coils... it may be there.
In terms of the flavoring, you may want to look at some recipes others have made to get a starting point. Some of the juice calculators come with recipes you can browse or there are some sites that have recipes. The search button on this forum and Google are your friends.....

lol thanks for the info. I think somewhere around 10-14 wraps is going to bring me at about 1.8ohms I am going to wrap the diameter of the wick that I have.

I have searched and searched for somewhere to start to make a decent menthol - maybe im searching for the wrong things but I haven't turned up much yet

Have you tried the recipe section of this forum? Or the DIY section? I'm willing to bet you will find something helpful. Also keep in mind that it is OK to make a boo boo when starting to DIY. I'm not suggesting going off on a wild tangent, but you need to start somewhere. Settle on a recipe that is close to what you are looking for if not the exact same flavoring and give it a go. Then you can start to make adjustments from there. Hope that makes sense.

I would recommend Rip Tripper - youtube for micro coil building at your own risk. Most of my devices I do 11 wraps 28 gauge 5/64 drill bit ala rip tripper micro coil and measures around 1.5 ohms.

Menthol is easy to make. Buy some menthol crystals and dissolve them in PG or VG or any combination thereof.
Add a few drops to your juice and adjust to suit your taste. I bought an ounce of crystals for a few dollars three years ago and still have half of it left. Be careful... this stuff can be strong enough to make you foam at the mouth...

I mix my TFA tobacco from 8-10% and mix my menthol about 1.5% depending on the tobacco flavor. You need a ohm-meter regarding your coil question. Bump on the Rip Tripper guy- he is knowledgeable and also entertaining. ps- try his vertical chimney coil. Not for chasing clouds but for excellent flavor production, IMO.
