Wrapping coils is super easy!

Hey I'm very new to vaping, just three and a half weeks in. I just went to a brick and mortar (b&m) shop a good distance away and got some 32a kanthal to try my hand at rebuilding my aspire bottom dual coil heads (aspire bdc). Used 100% pure cotton as my wicking material and rolled up a coil in about 10 minutes. The ohms are off, I'm getting about 3 ohms with 8-9 wraps around a thick paper clip (didn't have proper things to use and I couldn't wait to try ;) ) anyway it's working great. I assume if I make it a dual coil as it came that would drop the resistance in half?

Anyway this is mostly for new people to see if they feel intimidated by wrapping their own coils, I just threw something together in a few impatient minutes and it works on par with what I purchased. So 24+ coils for $7 or 5 coils for $11? And I didn't buy my wire in bulk so you could cut that $7 into a fraction. It's cheap, it's fun, it's customizable. Have a go

Yes. If you make them with the same number of wraps. Parallel resistance of two equal R is R/2.
