Hi Ego. I'm Ed. I've had my VV Grand black wrinkle several months now. The finish is not too deep, just adds a bit of grip to the unit. Cleans up very easy with a warm, damp cloth. When you run your finger over it, you can feel the finish is not smooth like an anodized Reo, but it isnt like sandpaper. So far its my fave finish. I often have light grease on my hands and this Reo is the first to have that little extra bit of grip where it doesnt slide out of my hand. Hope that helped. I'm pretty wrinkled but some people think I clean up OK. Well so they say...shrug...
I've had my wrinkled for about a month now and haven't noticed any marks at all on it yet from either skin oil or juice. Still looks as beautiful as the day it came. I am loving this finish. It feels real good in the hand - like Ed said above, feels like it's not going to slide out of your hand accidentally - and, to me, it actually feels a bit 'warmer' somehow (if that makes any sense). It is a great, classy finish and no problems at with it.
I've had my black wrinkle VVG over a month, almost constant use. Haven't had it in extremely dirty situations but my house is a dust bowl and my country, house dogs, who I'm always touching haven't had baths in so long I can't remember. So other than a quick inside wipe, when refilling bottle, I haven't cleaned the outside at all. Few days ago, while cooking, I got a lot of corn starch on it. Quick swipe with barely damp microfiber cloth and pretty as new. I'm really impressed with the wrinkle finish. I haven't put one in DH's hands for true abuse testing though.

I am a big fan of the black wrinkle Wayne who works for me full time is hard on mods and his has held up well . I think it has a warmer feel to it myself
The black wrinkle is also my fave... it's always warm in my hand and there's just enough texture so that it's not at all rough but it grips really well.
I have had the wrinkled a short while and agree the finish does feel abit less slippery with a bit of warmth, I really enjoy the change from the anodized.
