Writing to MP

Sometime ago someone on this forum wrote to his/her MP. Sadly I didn't follow the thread and it left me wondering... If this is actually possible (change regulation regarding ENDS and alternative tobacco products) and how such a process would work

It is possible. But then again how they will respond is also predictable. Will not make a diff imo..
They will only quote the negative and incomplete studies on e-cig and put you down. At best they will say all studies and research are inconclusive and are now doing their own tests, so we can wait.. And wait... And wait lol

But then we can try of course..

Yes, unlike US, Singapore isn't a country where the citizens have much sway over government regulations.

It's the same even in the US.. Look at the e-cig movement, nothing small and they even engage talks with FDA and such. But how did FDA rule in the end? Still in favor of the tobacco industries..
They all pretend to listen and engage you, if only to buy time to draft up their own plans/agendas..

I agree, its a bit like giving yourself up isn't it? I don't trust this govt 1 bit for anything except to suck my money dry.
