That lil Island
Hi there! I'm rather new to this forum. Had read up on ecig a lot on the net and i believe it's a better alternative to my analogs plus i see so many vapers out there enjoying their vapes.:vapor: So i tried ordering itaste vv3 on fasttech but after a month of wait (kept advising by the staff in FT to wait awhile longer and awhile more).. still can't wait to get my hands on one.
Finally when i managed to get one across the bridge(ego twist), i didn't get the kick i dreamt of and in fact had a lil irritation on my throat. I can say i was a lil disappointed. :(
Does it happened to all first time users? Or do i have to get used to it? (currently vaping on nicotech apple and red bull, liqua mint)

Frankly speaking i'm more inclined to stick to my analogs instead. :facepalm:

a good 80%vg juice and a dripper is what it took for me to get that thump I got from smoking. Once I got the right setup I haven't needed a smoke since. 50-50's are good but I really like the vape of a heavy vg blend. 6mg and sometimes even 12mg.

I have to agree with sketch on this one, I was kind of lost trying to make the switch from smokes to vaping and went back and forth a few times. But that first draw I took of an RDA it was over, the throat hit and lung filling feeling I was missing from analogs was finally back. Haven't looked back since then.

I am not a cloud chaser but the extra vapor I think was the kicker, the smaller mods just didn't give me that feeling that analogs did. Best of luck on your vape journey!! :vapor:

Yes, it happens a lot.
Finding a good eliquid that works with your setup is one of the key milestones.
If you could get some unflavored to try it would be usefull;

I've got a bottle of South Beach apple, and I can't vape the thing, but sometimes I add just 1 drop to what I'm vaping which is pretty dilute turkish flavor to begin with, and it gives me a nice touch of flavor.

fwiw, I do like halo tribeca; and if you can find a vape bar that offers samples that would really be usefull.

This x1000 great point you won't enjoy vaping if you don't enjoy your juice. For me it was the guys in my signature but obviously for each individual it will be different, but after the first puff on The Virus I knew I would never look at smoking the same again. I just can't put this stuff down, when I get down to 100mls I start getting nervous because I'm getting "low". :lol:

If your throat gets irritated, it might be that you didn't give the wicks in your clearomizer enough time to get saturated with juice. That can give a slight burning sensation in your throat. Using a juice with high vg will not make that any better, since vg is so much thicker and takes longer to fully saturate your wicks. It also gives you less of the throathit that you're looking for. High pg juices are thinner and will give you more thoathit, but less vapour.

Just to expand a little on this, once the wicks have been burnt they will always taste a little funky, even if you get it to start wicking properly after. With heavier VG Juices just add 2 or 3 drops of distilled water to each tankful and it will wick properly.

As stated above, huge nicoticket fan. I really have at least liked everything I have tried from them. And I love Creme Brulee and Wakonda. CLS is good but it takes time to steep and I am impatient.

I also really like Alice, Hatter, and White Queen from Vaping Rabbit. These are 100% VG and are tough in a tank.

and for less than $10 you can get menthol and some VG delivered to spice up your juices the way you like
