Greets,

So yesterday I was re-coiling my Goblin Mini.
First I wanted to try a dual coil twisted Ti1 build. Managed to squeeze it in the tiny build deck and my ohm reader told me I'm at 0.1ohm. All good I thought, as X Cube II is supposed to fire down to 0.06... Wrong! I screw on the tank and the mod is telling me 'ohm too low'. So I remove the tank and double check on ohm reader. Sure enough, it's still a solid 0.1ohm.
Gave up on the twisted build and made my standard 8 wraps of 26ga Ti1 x2, which normally works out as .15 - .16ohm. Checked on the ohm reading and sure enough, I'm where I should be. Some flickering between .15 and .16 on ohm reader. I screw on the tank and lo behold, X Cube II is telling me my coils are 0.1!
Now my X Cube II has never been particularly good at giving a precise ohm reading, but it has never been off by that much! So far it seemed that the margin of error is somewhere around .02, give or take, but .06 is just huge!
So basically, I am wondering if anyone, has anyone else ran into this problem with their X Cube II's? I've been using mine since October, I guess. Never had this issue before.

P.S.
Adjusting the ohms manually, doesn't seem to function correctly either. If I set the value to .15, where it should be, it's unvapeable at the temperatures I normally use for this build.
Sorry for the wall of text and thank you!

I have not really had any such issues. Infact I now use my X Cube II to verify coil resistances on alot of my builds after having verified its reliability with a multi-meter a few times. If I am not mistaken, it may have to do with using TC wire though. I have noticed some tempera-mentalism with devices when building with NI or TI, although I am certainly no expert in this area.

I'll try cleaning the 510 and battery contacts, thanks!
My XCII has always been under-reading Ti coils, from Day1 and only Kanthal coils I've tried in it, was the stock tripple coil head, which came installed with the tank. Never really paid much attention to it as the difference wasn't that big, about 0.01 to 0.02ohms. This time, however, it's a pretty darn big difference...
Thanks, will update after 'maintenance' :)

Soooo... bad news in v1ksland.
Cleaned all the contacts I could, on the mod, with good ol' Spiritus Aethylicus (fancy 96.1% mind you!). No go, still no improvement. Then I remembered I had this Aura Mini kit, with a .33 kanthal coil in it. I slapped it on and it read spot on .33. So I guess this is either a one off glitch on XCII's part, or it's slowly refusing to function properly with TC coils. Guess time will tell.
Since I already was "at it", I decided to rip the ....... apart to see why that horrid side-button-thing is sticking.
More bad news:

Guess I'll see if it can be replaced...
Thanks for the input, everyone!

Bummer! Don't know if it'll help but the mod has two separate fire buttons so if one is bad, you should be able to still use the mod w/the good switch although it'll take some getting used to I'd imagine. The mod is shown apart at about 28:15 of this youtube video. Good luck:

Oh, I know. The picture I posted is from my mod. :)
Yeah, I'm getting used to applying more force towards the bottom part of the side button. It's actually a bit better now, after I took it apart and put it back together. I'll see if I can find a matching switch and replace it. Should be pretty straight forward. :)
Thanks for the thoughtfulness though!
