X-Taste first had the X250 sent out to reviewers (including myself) back in 2016. The original version of the mod did have numerous issues which X-Taste had mostly fixed with firmware upgrades. I never got around to reviewing the original version of this mod as X-Taste decided to pull the mod from retail and go back to the drawing board.
What im looking at today is still the same X-Taste 250, but this one is the overhauled version of the mod. With a slightly bigger housing and a fully overhauled chip, it is capable of firing down to 0.05 ohms and has a menu and software package which makes the chip on par with the likes of the dna or YiHi's but at only a fraction of the price. Ohhh, and it also runs off of a dual cell LiPo pack. How does it perform? Lets find out...
