Hi gang,
I ran across these little doo-dads on a few websites, and my searches here and on the intorwebs at large give me the impression that these worked great, when they didn't leak. But most of the posts end about the middle of 2012 and I didn't want to resurrect old threads.

I'm just wondering if anyone is still using these. The QC problems remind me of the issues that started to crop up around the bottom coil CE3s. Much as I LOVED the CE3, it was the QC issues that finally drove me up the eGo/510 connection hill and then down the mountain of full-on vape-gear hobbyist.

So has everyone just sorta moved on from the X7? Anyone still using them regularly? I sometimes want something smaller than an Evod, without the hassle/mess (my fine motor skills are untrustworthy at best) of dripping.

I still have a bunch of the micromizers in my zombie apocolipse stash. The ones I have require inserting the threaded end into a plastic end cap, removing that tiny black plug, filling with a needle top bottle, struggling to get that tiny black plug back in place and then praying that I did it well enough to prevent leaks. I got pretty good at it but once I discovered CE3's the micromizers were history. I guess I've been fortunate because I've never had a leaking problem with my CE3's. They have been my favorite juice delivery device for at least the past 8 months.

Wonder what become of LD. Haven't seen him around in quite some time.

Hope all is well with him.

I believe I read somewhere that he finally bought a new home and is just really busy. I love watching his reviews. Hopefully he will get settled soon.

If you liked your CE3's I think the QC issue has been addressed. The last ones I received don't hold as much juice but they are a little powerhouse of goodness. Right now I have my favorite DIY juice (hazelnut) in one of them. I also have it in a CE4 (stardust) and a Kanger T3. I get the best flavor with the CE3.

When I posted his Vid I was thinking the same thing.

I Always like LD because he wasn't afraid to Pan a Product if it deserved it. And he Didn't Slam products that Didn't.

Too many Reviewers have a "Vested' interest in doing Good Reviews. And an Agenda against products that they didn't have such an Interest in.

That and many Vids he did would Many Times have a Small Mammal walking around in the Background or Asleep on the Bed. Cracked me Up.

Thanks for the input folks, I appreciate it.
Guess I might give the CE3s another go, but will avoid the X7.
I don't need to introduce any MORE difficulty into my hobbies, heh.

I'm Not a Fan of Any bottom Coil Cartos. But Many people like them.

I'll also say that I haven met a CE_ that didn't need some Tweaking to work with my e-Liquids / Voltages.

I have to correct this. I was just looking in my container of failed attempts at finding the perfect juice delivery device. I was wrong about the X7 micromizers. They are the ones with a built in led and were even worse than the ones I was describing. The ones with the tiny black plug were called Smokymizers. If you were considering either of these my advice would be just don't do it. :)

Sorry 'bout that. I should have looked before I spoke.

My issue with the CE3 was from about Oct-Dec. I was still on the 808 train, getting most of my stuff from Smokeless Image. I thought I had found the Promised Land with the CE3, then a few weeks later almost all of them (at least 3 out of every pack of 5) was burning every juice I tried. This was when I was using regular old cig-a-like batteries and the Smokless Image VoltX2, which is pretty much a fixed voltage eGo battery with an 808 connector instead of the 510. So no variable voltage.

I think the consensus at the time was that there had been a change in the manufacturing process, and LOTS of 'em had coils that were wrapped too tightly. That was what pushed me out into the wide wide world of eGo/510 connectors and all the other "big boy toys."

I have a love/hate relationship with the CE3.
Fresh from the package, they vape great. The flavor is very good. At some point, the wick will have a problem and not enough juice will be there when the coil fires. The burnt taste never really goes away. But when they are good, they are very good.
I'm sure most people do not want to be fooling w/ the syringe to fill them. They don't hold much either, but I still love 'em. Even vaping at 3.7 v on an old battery, they still work great. I'm going to attempt to re-wick a few this week, as I saved all 10 of the "broken" ones.
